COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A full-bodied lager beer of exuberant and robust character. Its muscle-man body comes from decocted German malts and noble German hops. Lagered long and cold to refine its strong temperament, St. Boisterous emerges smooth and seductive, with a malty sweet charm. This classic rendition of the German maibock' style will warm your heart.

Bottle from backlog notes. Pours a slightly hazy orange color with a small off white head. The aroma and flavor have toasted, bready malts, hints of caramel, floral hops, light fruity notes, mild spicy hops, soft finish, just ok.

Draft at WOB Viera. Pale straw-yellow with no head. Not much in the aroma. Flavor is almost cloyingly sweet with little in the way of hops. Alcohol a bit too up-front. Meh.

Rated on 5-17-2010 at 800 Degrees Pizza in Fort Wayne, IN. This draft beer pours a medium sized off-white head that mostly diminishes, transparent orange body, minimal carbonation, and spotty lacing. The aroma is malty, sweet, citrus hops, and light fruit. The taste is sweet, lightly bitter, malty citrus hops, and fruit. The palate is soft carbonation and this beer is medium bodied. Overall, at 7.3% ABV this beer is easy to drink and I would drink this again.

Pours clear, amber with a small, quick head. Grainy malt aroma, apple. Taste has notes of fruit, honey, sweet grains. Older bottle, slightly oxidized..... But still, pretty decent.

On tap at Joe Canals West Deptford.
Appearance: Crystal clear golden body with a creamy light tan head.
Aroma: Hops are prominent, but very mild at the same time adding a floral and slightly spicy presence. There is a fruity aroma I cant figure out, perhaps apples, with sweet malts to balance things out.
Taste: The malt base is prominent, acting as a sweet foundation of caramel to support the dry floral hops that dry out the finish. Apples are noted throughout.
Palate: Medium bodied, lively carbonation.
Overall: This is a very good beer, it would be great on a warm Spring day!

Growler from Canals in Lawrenceville, New Jersey. Pours a bright honey gold color with a medium-sized bite head and lovely clinging lace. Fresh grainy malt aroma with notes of citrus and honey. First sip yields a crisp sweet malt taste that displays remarkable balance and flavor. Very simple yet elegant and right on for the "maibock" style. The finish displays notes of honey, vanilla and citrus mixed with peppery hops.
