COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
With a huge, Pacific Northwest hop aroma & character upfront, Storm King subsides into massive, roast malt complexity. More flavor than mere words can adequately describe. Rich and substantial, it will warm your heart.

some maltiness and some nice roast in aroma and flavour, but too much green piney grapefruity PNW hops. quite dry and thin for an imp stout, although not too bad, just not that rich and satisfying, more of a "black IPA" - which is fine if you like that sort of thing, but even then, it’s not that bitter. perhaps it’s not the beer it once was, or perhaps it never really was that good in the first place. why do american brewers like adding hop aroma to stouts instead of using flavourful yeasts? no character - gimme a nigerian guinness any day.

mariuspoenari (2954) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2017
Waiting for the Montreal semi-finals to start. Very dark brown pour with a medium height tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, smoke and all kinds of similar stuff. Really bitter, roasty and dark, the way an imperial stout is supposed to be. Noting out of the ordinary going on here, jsut straight up roasted malts, and plenty of! I like!

Bootlegger007 (243) - AUSTRALIA - AUG 3, 2017
Pours black as night with a solid creamy tan cap head, aromas of coffee, chocolate and spice, full bodied ale, loving it with the chocolate sweetness and the bitter coffee aftertaste, also getting vanilla and spice coming through.
