With a huge, Pacific Northwest hop aroma & character upfront, Storm King subsides into massive, roast malt complexity. More flavor than mere words can adequately describe. Rich and substantial, it will warm your heart.

On top at Victory. This was a hard beer to rate and its not fair because it was a good beer for what it is, but in regards to my taste I did not like it as much as I like the Donnybrook (which giving it the respect it deservces is a completely different style). So for the style it was good, but I would prefer otherones that I have had.

mariuspoenari (2724) - The Hague, NETHERLANDS - AUG 12, 2017
Waiting for the Montreal semi-finals to start. Very dark brown pour with a medium height tan head. Notes of roasted malts, dark chocolate, roasted coffee beans, smoke and all kinds of similar stuff. Really bitter, roasty and dark, the way an imperial stout is supposed to be. Noting out of the ordinary going on here, jsut straight up roasted malts, and plenty of! I like!

Pours black as night with a solid creamy tan cap head, aromas of coffee, chocolate and spice, full bodied ale, loving it with the chocolate sweetness and the bitter coffee aftertaste, also getting vanilla and spice coming through.

Typowo amerykański, mocno nachmielony. W tle kawa i czekolada. Jest goryczka w otoczeniu palonych smaków. Zacny

Piwo czarne bez refleksow z obfita lekko bezowa drobnopecherzykowa piana. W aromacie palonosc, popiol i gorzka czekolada w polaczeniu z chmielem. W smaku polwytrawne z niskim wysyceniem i iglakowa goryczka. Powiem szczerze ze spodziewalem sie czegos bardziej bogatego a tu lekko sie zawiodlem.
