COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

12 oz bottle. 98* day. Pours pilsner-piss yellow, tiny white head, some spotty lacing. Aroma is surprisingly hoppy. Also get some citrus, bitterness. Flavor is very smooth, a little grassy, moderately carbonated, honey sweetness at the end. Very drinkable beer on a blazing hot day. The perfect beer to swill heartily alongside your PBR/Natty Boh/American macro drinking friends.

Light and tasty and very refreshing. Effervescent up front; dry in the finish. Bready and cracker-like with a touch of honey-ish sweetness. Snappy bitterness. Pleasant esters and hop aromas of lemon, flowers and spices. Wonderfully made summer beer.

Pale in color with a smallish head and plenty of carbonation. Crystal clear. Good aroma in the nose. lightly hopped and sweeter malts balance well. The taste finds citrusy hops with a bit of floral and bready malts that have a hint of sweet honey. The finish has a semi dry and a semi bitter finish. Well made and definitely will appeal to the masses as well as discerning tastes like myself.

Purchased in NY City. Pour a golden colour with a head that stay long and creates a coat over the brew. Grapefruit and orange aromas. Kind of a creamy mouthfeel. Grainy taste with the hop being strong, but well-balanced. Quite a nice beer that is a mix of a IPA and blonde ale.

Wheat, grass, lemon, orange, grapefruit. Zesty and spicy and pretty hoppy for a golden. Kind of a mix between Headwaters and HopDev.

12oz bottle from Armanettis. Pours a crystal clear, golden-yellow colored body with a finger-width, foamy and frothy, white head that dissipates slowly and leaves a nice lacing. Aroma is solid with grassy oranges and lemons, grainy pale malts, a good amount of florals, and some pepper. Flavor is similar. A good amount of grassy lemons, grapefruits, and oranges up front with a grainy pale malt backing. Florals come in during the middle with a slight piney pepper before this finishes grassy and dry with a crisp, clean, light-medium bitterness. Lengthy aftertaste following a thinner body and a moderate carbonation. Overall, a lighter, but flavorful, crisp, clean, and easy drinking beer. Solid grassy citrus bitterness with a nice floral backing and a balanced, grainy pale malt backing. Nothing special, but they nailed what they were going for. Good one.
