COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

Wonderful warm weather beer. Pours a beautiful clear gold. Crisp hop notes of grapefruit and pine, but light enough to not overpower. Light, but very flavorful and crisp. Highly recommended. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Ah, summer love. Pours a generic golden color and the head obscured the wheaty aroma until it fizzled down. The taste is smooth and lightly hoppy, with a crisp dry finish. Might taste better in the can, honestly... we poured it into a glass for rating of appearance and aroma purposes, but it seemed a bit more flavorful before. Overall, a solid sessionable beer-- easy drinking with enough flavor to keep it interesting. Good for coming home after errands with tummies full of pancakes, more beer, and cheap Justin Bieber t-shirts.

Pours golden, bright. No describable hop aroma. Tastes like a bland golden ale. Fine if its your thing.

Can picked up from Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon consumed at home Tuesday 13th December 2016 Pours pale gold with a small white head atop. A touch sweet on the nose, Ive had this for maybe three months now so perhaps the hoppiness has faded or wasnt really there in the first place? Moderately bitter but also a little sweetness, light fruity bite, some grassy hop, its ok but not really doing it for me. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Many bottles over the years, this review is from 2011 with James Dad and Annie Fannon. Im guessing it was better then? Havent liked this in years even though hipsters do. Pours a clear golden with large white head. Notes of dry malt, grass, pine, grapefruit, caramel malt and corn. Drinkable back then but would never buy it these days.
