RATINGS: 781   WEIGHTED AVG: 3.43/5   SEASONAL: Summer   EST. CALORIES: 156   ABV: 5.2%
Brewed locally at the Victory Brewery in Chester County, the Summer of Love Ale is a golden ale made with pale malts, German hops and Brandywine River water. This specific style of beer was chosen because it has a broad appeal and will be accessible for casual beer drinkers, but will still retain exciting hop notes.

The brew has a vibrant and refreshing pale color derived from its lean and refreshing malt body. And the initially floral aroma of hops segues into a well integrated, refreshing hop dryness of European heritage.

Well its the end of summer and im not in love. Oh well it was a good beer with pretzels but I would not buy a six pack of it. Luckily I dont have to because they sell single bottles where I buy beer. The body was OK, kind of putting it with the MILF in American Pie. The texture was thin almost anorexic slim. The taste was a slight rosemary twisted with grass. The palate was mildly bitter. The Overall was not bad when mixed with pretzels and Dont forget to chew your Big Red when endulging in your Summer Love.

Pours golden, bright. No describable hop aroma. Tastes like a bland golden ale. Fine if its your thing.

Can picked up from Wine Rack at Yarnton Nurseries, Yarnton, Oxon consumed at home Tuesday 13th December 2016 Pours pale gold with a small white head atop. A touch sweet on the nose, Ive had this for maybe three months now so perhaps the hoppiness has faded or wasnt really there in the first place? Moderately bitter but also a little sweetness, light fruity bite, some grassy hop, its ok but not really doing it for me. A6 A4 T6 P3 Ov12 3.1

Many bottles over the years, this review is from 2011 with James Dad and Annie Fannon. Im guessing it was better then? Havent liked this in years even though hipsters do. Pours a clear golden with large white head. Notes of dry malt, grass, pine, grapefruit, caramel malt and corn. Drinkable back then but would never buy it these days.

Pale straw color with a moderate white head. Pale malt and herbal hops aromas. Flavors of pale malt, floral to herbal hops, and light citrus. A golden ale with German pils tendencies. 6/11

Can from Coppers, Newcastle. Straw coloured with a thick rocky head of white foam. It has a sweet lemon and toffee flavour with gentle floral notes on the grassy and zesty fruit finish. Pretty good.

Bottle. Golden beer with a good head. The aroma is hopped with light citric and yeasty elements. The flavour is dry with some hops and yeastiness. Overall a reasonable golden beer. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
