From tap at the brewpub. Pours hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is mild fruity/citrusy. Mild estery, wheaty and light citrusy. Dry and estery wheaty into the finish. Ungstrup (38139) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - NOV 28, 2005
A hazy light yellow beer with a huge white head. The aroma is sweet wheaty with notes of coriander, while the flavor is sweet wheaty with a spicy touch, which I can’t put a name to. The body is thin. I find it more Belgian than German in style. Travlr (25496) - Charlotte, North Carolina, USA - JUN 13, 2010

Tap at Sean’s. Pours a cloudy yellow with a strong white head. Nice bready aroma with plenty of yeast and wheat. Flavor has good sweetness up front, with notes of banana and clove. Light ot medium in body with average carbonation and a smooth, almost creamy texture. Finishes with more bread notes and sweetness. Very good. Crisp, wheaty flavours and a wonderfully citric fruitiness. The perfect breakfast beer. jtclockwork (16831) - , New Jersey, USA - APR 30, 2010
Yeasty aroma. Some fruit and orange peel. Pours cloudy amber gold. Medium bodied. Rated 4/4/10 brokensail (16599) - Dublin, California, USA - AUG 21, 2011
A: The beer pours a hazy light golden orange color with a finger of white head.
S: Starts off with a nice aroma of clove and white pepper. There is a touch of nutmeg along with the sweet banana notes. Fairly sweet with some wheat, bread, and a fair amount of bubblegum.
T: The flavor has quite a bit of bubblegum to it along with a nice banana note. The clove flavor is a bit more subdued than I had hoped, but it is there, particularly on the finish. A bit too carbonated, unfortunately, which kills a bit of the malt flavor.
M: Light in body with a medium to high carbonation and a really crisp feeling on the tongue.
O: An easy to drink hefeweizen (as they should be). Could have used a bit more yeast contribution to it, but still alright. Ratman197 (15094) - Arvada, Colorado, USA - AUG 2, 2007
Bottle poured a cloudy yellow with a large lasting white head. Aromas of wheat, yeast and lemon. Palate was light bodied and crisp. Flavors of bread dough, yeast and a hint of citrus with a crisp clean finish. Smells better than it tastes!
