I was surprised to see this. i thought i had tried most of what victory had to offer. yellow golden color, opace body. just sweet enough . austinpowers (2828) - San Francisco, California, USA - JUL 29, 2002
Needs more of a head. Darker than most, and unfiltered. Victory is so into hopping their beers that I was worried they’d overhop this weisse, but one taste and my fears were allayed. Like a ray of morning sunshine, this tangy, citrusy wheat really delivers on taste. It reminds me a tad of Capital Kloster Weizen, but less citrusy. obxdude10 (2324) - Pottstown, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 28, 2004
Awesome hefe, cloudy & hazy gold color, huge fluffy white head, yeast & banana in the nose, more yeast & banana in the flavors along with bubble gum & citrus notes, crisp & very drinkable, very enjoyable wheat beer, one of the best

UPDATED: SEP 4, 2006 This is just another fabulous brew from the boys at Victory. They got an absolute home run with this wheat beer. This wheat is free fo sediment and it has a fabulous crisp wheat taste. Refreshing and very reminiscent of the wheats of Bavaria, I would never know I was not drinking a fabulous German wheat. Close your eyes and you can really feel like your drinking in the Hofbrauhaus. I don’t even like wheat beers and this beer exceeded all my expectations and then some. One of the best. delirium11 (28) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - JUN 10, 2010
A wheat beer with a summer kick. Spicy and fruity at the beginning with a nice smooth unfiltered end.

as good as the dunkel the yeast charachteristics are excellent and the malt as good i prefer these over many german examples which are travel weary by the time they arrive in the states Unibonger (163) - Mount Shasta, California, USA - JUN 16, 2010
12oz bottle. Pours a very hazy golden, thick frothy head with big lacing. Was foaming harsh out of the bottle, took awhile to pour it all. Strong clove aroma, slight banana to it, sweet overall, also has a tiny bit of the "wet blanket." Very clove-y flavor, some very minor bitterness, and slight fruit. Noticeable but not strong grain flavor. High carbonation, slick texture, medium body. nathan30533 (1020) - Clifton, Ohio, USA - MAY 7, 2011
Wow. Doesn’t get much better then this. Taste of banana and coriander and spice. Brilliant for a warm day in the shade. drpimento (3639) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - OCT 27, 2011
MMmmmm goood beer. Served with a nice, thick, foamy, frothy off white head that lasts a while and good lacing. Color is an almost clear yellow amber and lots of bubble trails. Aroma is a divine blend of malt, banana, spices, bubblegum, yeast. Flavor is classic Bavarian Weisse - malt, citrus, yeast, bit of sweet tart. Body is very good although still a little soft and great carbonation. Finish is like flavor, of good length, clean and slow taper. Very good, session beer. Draft. Hazy yellow, nice head. Clove and banana aroma. Fruity flavor, with pear, touch of banana, and a balanced spice finish. This is a really well done German Hefe.
