Yellow almost-clear pour some white head. Citrus grassy hop aromas, lemons yeast. Perfume flavors on the tongue, some funk, acidity fades to banana yeast then to very strong bitterness. Dry clean palate and mid body. A bit of a departure from the style definitely american. I wouldn’t session this as it is a bit too harshly citric and bitter. thirdeye11 (6162) - Dallas, Texas, USA - JUN 27, 2013
UPDATED: JUN 29, 2013 (Draught) clearish bright gold, lasting soapy white bubbles and decent lacing. Nose is earthy, rose water, Czech/noble hops. Taste is peppercorns, earthy, bit soapy, light earthy bitterness that also lingers on the palate, rye or some other spicy component. Interesting but too spicy and earthy. This is a beer that I really enjoyed. I think the hip kids might not like it so much. It’s Miley Cyrus’s Party in the USA of beers. Smells like coriander and pours a dark pale. Flavor is spice with a touch of bitter. Very lively. Might have to grab six of these for my impending beach trip. Pours hazy straw color with thick plume of white foam and plenty of carbonation. Belgian yeast aromas with a touch of citrus. Nice saison flavors with more hop presence than I was expecting and some yeasty bread at the end. Very smooth and drinkable, which I suppose is what one wants in a session beer. mcox90 (2119) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 24, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours a bright yellow with two-finger foamy white head that retains some lace. Good looking beer. Yeasty bread like aroma with secondary spices. A little bit of farmhouse funk in the flavor. Some citrus, mostly lemon. Very yeasty. Light bodied and fizzy palate. No real aftertaste. Refreshing. Picked up a six for $8.00 at The Beer Store. Went back for, alas, it was gone.

Ar: Savory, salty nose, a bit brothy - some perfume and tart citrus.
Ap: Hazy straw gold - small white head with moderate retention, leaves a film of foam.
T: Faint malt, pear, and peach - citrus rind and savory broth - medium-high bitterness, with some clean, tart citrus and herbal hops.
P: Light body, very high carbonation - finish is very dry.
O: Very nice mouthfeel and carbonation, and some nice flavors - the brothy quality throws it a bit off-balance, and some more fruitiness would be welcome. nearbeer (5555) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Pint on tap. Lightly hazy golden body with a lasting disc of cream on top. Mild aroma of pine resin and earthy lemon honey. Tastes of earthy beeswax, resin and a touch of white grape skins. Medium body is dry and tingly with high carbonation.
