Bottle pours golden yellow with a white head. Nose of citrus and earth. Medium body begins with earth and sweetness, finishes with oranges. Mouthfeel is crisp. JK (6240) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - APR 15, 2013
Quite dry. Hazy yellow color. Aroma has yeast, coriander, and citrus. It is aromatic. Dry flavor, with light spice. Solid session beer. Elwood (3336) - Leesburg, Virginia, USA - APR 14, 2013
Serving: 12 oz. bottle from Wegmans Leesburg. It pours a hazy greenish dark yellow with a nice head of loose, small bubbles. The nose is zesty with nice grass and saison yeast notes, perhaps a little lemon peel and hay. Spritely on the tongue with lots of green grass, a little green apple peel, lemon pith, and green peppercorn. Light body with a fairly clean finish. Somewhere between De Ranke XX Bitter and Saison du Buff flavor wise. Very solid stuff. Lukaduke (3206) - Gray, Maine, USA - APR 12, 2013
Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of fizzy foam. The nose is a bit dirty with a peppery diaper like spice that dissipates slowly as the beer warms. The palate is crisper than the nose would have lead me to believe and confirms that it is a solid drinker and not a drainpour... Earthy yeast profile with traces of pepper and citrus to add a slight complexity. Not bad but Ill stick with the Helios over this anytime.... although the lower alcohol levels in this make is a plausible session beer. Beergeek23322 (2602) - Chester, Virginia, USA - APR 12, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours golden yellow and not as hazy as other saisons. The head is white and foamy. The aromas are more hoppy than your typical saison too. That being said, if a good beer that I would drink again.

on draft, your normal every day drinking saison, was a little safe but thats what they are going for. ok BroSpud (2215) - , Massachusetts, USA - APR 10, 2013
UPDATED: JUL 23, 2013 12oz bottle. Pours a cloudy light golden with a white head. Light weight saison with flavors of lemon, pepper and water. Yes water. Very simple and light saison that’s not to bad but is a bit too on the watery side for this guy.
7-23-13: Tried this again and like it alot better. Yes it is lightweight and somewhat watery but for 4.5 really not bad and hitting the spot tonight. This time I’m getting alot of pear and clove notes. Same beer. Different day. Different beer. dmac (6387) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - APR 10, 2013
12oz single bottle from Spirits Berkley. Poured a really great looking deep clear dark gold body with lots of rising effervescence and an average sized silky bright white head. Aroma is doughy, perfume, white pepper, rotting lemon and a slight touch of copper. Fuller body with lighter carbonation that finishes dry like eating a piece of toast. Flavor isn’t as good as the aroma and seems a bit dry. Notes of toast, lemon zest, touch of skunk cabbage, pepper and old flowers. Good stuff. Drake (14033) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - APR 9, 2013
12 ounce bottle from Beer Run. Pours a hazy straw color with a thin frothy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pale malts, herbal notes, faint tartness. The taste is bubblegum, spices, stone fruits, herbal notes, pineapple, pale malts. Medium bodied, refreshing. emacgee (4697) - Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA - APR 8, 2013
Pours a soft and cloudy pale blonde with a sticky two finger tight white head. Very heavily spiced....very heavily. This one needs to take two steps back and breathe.
Very raw and earthy aroma with a heavy spice component and very noticeable over ripe fruit character. Heavy with lemongrass and yeast. Sharp and pretty much astringent spice character in the mouth. I get a lot of ’Sorachi Ace’ here, may just be the herbal spice notes mixed with overripe fruit....which is what Sorachi Ace smells like to me.
