COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste!

Light very cloudy yellow pour with inch of bright fluffy head. Waxy crayon, yeasty scent; bright lemon and pear scent, strong cloves, a bit buttery, clementines. Average carbonation, medium slightly watery body, clean peppery finish. Taste full of lemon and funky pepper, bitter yet smooth. Nice assertive tasting but light bodied saison.

Bottle. CLIUDY yellow with a huge, white head. Sour yeast and dry aromas. Weird grass and clove.

Shag (3001) - Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA - AUG 16, 2014
Cloudy yellow with a white head. Aroma is a soapy detergent lemon thing going on. It smells like Orval! This is very dry yet yeasty with a sharp lemon flavor that is slightly sour but very bitter and dry. Oh I see what you are doing Victory you are trying to make an Orval clone. Congrats you did just that! Strip away the name this is way higher rated than it currently is. Overall Im giving a bit above Orval for the balls to do this! Cheers!

Benzai (15608) - Oirschot, THE NETHERLANDS, NETHERLANDS - AUG 16, 2014
Bottle shared @ ChrisO. Pale yellow and golden, average sized white to off-white head. Smell and taste plastic, lemon, orange peel, a bit chemical or artificial. Not good.

DocLock (10683) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - AUG 7, 2014
Bottle from Wegman’s. Gold pour with white head. Nose is spicy florals, hops, slight yeasty funk. Tastes hoppy and citric with pale malt, mild funky yeasty notes, and a medium palate heft and complexity.

For the price would have expected something good. This is like a spicy lemonade. Glad I got a sample bottle cause yet another brew that I would be incredibly mad if I had paid the higher price for 6 of these.

Yellow, lemon and coriander spicy notes. So much spice in a saison sabotages the flavor I expect from a beer of this style. An unnuanced "saison" is not interesting.
