Draft. Hazy pale yellow color, almost no head. Aroma of white pepper and straw. Bitter and lager like with no detectable barnyard or orher saison characteristics. ChainGangGuy (4897) - Woodstock, Georgia, USA - APR 2, 2013
12 ounce bottle - $1.99 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Appearance: Pours a hazed, light straw-hued body with a medium-small, white head.
Smell: Fragrant citrus shrouds the particularly pale maltiness, with bits of grain-flecked dough with subtle florals and a melange of spiciness.
Taste: Pils malts, hints of other such grains sprinkled with a fine dusting of powdered sugar. Floral hints meld into citrus notes from the hops and citrus fruit additions which shimmy into a spiciness from the yeast, peppercorns, and hops, aided by the crisp carbonation. Dry, spicy finish.
Mouthfeel: Medium-light body. Medium-high carbonation for a lively, zippy mouthfeel.
Overall: I’d always thought the Victory V / Helios Ale saison was a bit too chewy for me, bodywise. This new Swing Session Saison is bright, light, and refreshing. drjay44 (3742) - Salida, Colorado, USA - APR 1, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours a thick, well retained, fluffy white head, with some lacing, over a very slightly hazy yellow (SRM 3) body....nose is cereal, light lemon, hints of allspice.....taste is light lemon, allspice, leading to a dry, moderately bitter, slightly peppery finish....mouth feel light of medium, carbonation adds light acid tingle. This falls well within this very broad style. It is low in ABV, and is a bit too hazy, but has a nice clean, refreshing finish. Complexity in aroma is low, but the flavors are well on. Slightly hazy yellow. White head has some staying power. Kind of a dirty laundry aroma. Floral fruity and sweet flavor. Rose petal comes to mind.

12 oz bottle purchased at Liquor Barrel in Golden Valley, Minnesota. Enjoy by July 21, 2013 printed on bottle neck. The pour is lightly hazed pale yellow with a frothy one inch white head. The aroma is light phenols, herbal, orange lemon citrus, and soft clove. Nice integrated, complex nose. The taste lemon citrus, herbal, peppery phenols, and finishes with a grassy hay. The palate is light bodied, soft carbonation, and a dry earthy, mineral clove herbal finish. A lot of nice flavor in this beer, easy drinking.

Draft from NYC Craft Beer Fest. A very sweet and lively saison. Lemon zest with notes of pound cake and corn bread. Very pillowy in texture. Pleasant! Tide (3979) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAR 30, 2013
Draught at bar. Golden color, white head. Bitter taste with citrus, orange peels, earthy notes, grapefruit and some peppers. Dry bitter finish with citrus. Nice saison. Suttree (6437) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - MAR 30, 2013
Cloudy pale yellow, with a nice white head. Smells nicely spicy and herbal, with a decent citrus hop note. Flavor is pretty much the same, with an appealing dryness throughout. Pretty tasty, I can see myself drinking a bunch of this..
