355mL from Total Wine, Jax FL. Pours a bright golden with heavier sparkling carbonation. Soapy, bright white head. Good lacing. Nose at first is a lot of poopy toilet with lemon disinfectant, moving thankfully to chamomile and some gamey spices. But that poopy aroma is off putting. Taste is herbal adjunct bomb with chamomile, lavender, lemon peel. Intense herbal hops to drive it home. Palate is a bit chalky and mildly anesthetic/medicinal from the herb adjunct overload. Not so refreshing. I thought we got past the point of doing a spiced Belgian blonde ale = saison.

12oz bottle. Mostly clear yellow color. Thin bubbly white head, some bubbles on the side of the glass. Little bits of lace. Surprisingly herbal aroma makes me think Saison du Buff. Sage, oregano, thyme... Not that I donít like that, I just expected a much more traditional saison (to differentiate from the Dogfish / Stone collab). Light spice, some citrusy zest, light belgian-style farmhouse yeast. Nice savory taste. Medium body, smooth lighter crisp carbonation, more on the dry side. Enjoyable, flavorful, drinkable light saison. I canít help but think of it as a Saison Du BUFF Light, which for me is a good thing. Also always good to have another 12oz saison option.

A sharp aroma that smells like you bathed a skunk in lemon juice. Misty, bright gold with a white filmy head. Good label, standard US longneck. Mineral, lightly astringent, lemon zest, funky notes. Medium to slightly light body, low carbo. Hoppy, lemon finish. ABC, Betton.

UPDATED: JUN 10, 2013 Bottle. Gold pour, big white head, good retention/some lace. Aroma of floral/spicy hops, herbal, bread, fruity ester. Taste is lightly bitter, floral/grassy hops, ester, medicinal notes, cracker. Palate is crisp, slick, bitter finish. Really nice at 4.5%.

Fragrant and classic of the style. Perhaps a bit forgettable but it's balanced and pleasant. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly sparkling, but kinda murky light golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is fresh and grassy with some bubblegum accents. Flavor is refreshingly chewy with a sharp saffron-like spiciness, some bubble gum sweetness, a hint of yeast. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Pretty solid.

maekchu (3847) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits in Athens. Sweet íní sour initial, with some light funk and peach-lemon juice. Nearly clear, pear juice, little head. Light sweet initial / mid has a bit of barn and some sort of spice / finish is gently bitter and moves to grass notes. Light body. Okay. Has some decent saison character. Very light-bodied stuff.

12 oz. bottle. Pours hazy gold with a light white head that leaves a thin film and collar. Aroma is bread yeast with light citrus and lemon rind. Taste is more bread biscuit peppery spice and mild citrus notes. Palate is crisp and dry. I will really enjoy this stuff when it 88 degrees out come summer.

Heavy wheat and oats in nose. Mild sulfur. Mild lemon and floral notes. Pepper and citrus peel added in flavor. Very light and crisp.
