Bottle - I’d had this before, but I finally just got a chance to buy a fresh six pack this year. This one poured a hazy straw color with a medium-large white head. Aroma was light wheat notes, sweet light citrus character with some coriander, and pepper notes. Flavor was light, sweet grain, pepper, spice. Pretty enjoyable, light and refreshing. Easy to drink and about perfect for Spring. drostj (113) - Huntsville, Alabama, USA - APR 20, 2014
Bottle. Pale, clear yellow with a light lacy head. Rich, grassy aroma with hints of spice, apple and pear. Slight bitter taste up front followed by a light taste of spice with some citrus. Dry crisp feel in the mouth with a nice slightly bitter aftertaste. Unlike a lot of beers that taste like an alcoholic orange soft drink, the citrus and spice in this beer are light and complement the taste of the ale without overwhelming it. Good job. tectactoe (3125) - Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle: Thanks, Jeff. Pours nuclear, piss-like yellow with a mild haze about it; gray-tinted, mostly white head quickly fades to a soapy looking collar. Aroma has notes of lemongrass, clove gum, faint citrus, & a hint of funky must. Fresh, bright, albeit a little mild. Taste has lots of dry cotton funk up front, followed by vague citrus notes, lots of yeast, mild white pepper, & a touch of bittering hops that bite in the finish. Crisp, clean finish. Nothing too special here, but decent for something you can easily slam. BeerandBlues2 (13313) - Escondido, California, USA - APR 18, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours clear pale yellow with a medium, frothy white head, medium retention with good lacing. Aroma is earthy and spicy wheat malt, citrus and earthy hops with pear esters and black pepper, ginger notes. Flavor is lively spices, medium hops and bitterness, light fruity esters, supporting pale malt and a dry finish. Light body and medium carbonation. SpongeRuiner (1114) - Michigan, USA - APR 18, 2014
Thanks Jeff for the pour. A crisp golden apple color. Very fresh grassy smell. Very refreshing taste. Very drinkable. A nice peppery background. A unique funky flavor that is definitely slammable.

Meh. Best part is the smell. Not much flavor, very basic Caisson taste. Easy to drink. Frank (4194) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - APR 16, 2014
This has a strange and very noticeable smell of chlorine bleach to it. I have had two bottles from two six packs with the same results. If you don’t like beer that tastes like bleach, avoid this. It does look nice in the glass and seems to be a nice, citrusy saison underneath that but who cares when there is such an enormous flaw. It is like drinking a lemon scented cleanser only maybe not quite as poisonous. John25 (1291) - Middletown, New Jersey, USA - APR 15, 2014
Bottle. Pours gold with some cloudiness and a lot of activity. The aroma is yeast, hay, orange peel, and spice. The taste adds grass and lemon but lacks overall flavor. The mouthfeel comes on strong at first then instantly fades leaving an acidic aftertaste. Maybe too much lemon. Ok overall but, I wouldn’t get this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone Ron (3957) - Rochester, New York, USA - APR 14, 2014
Bottle. Pours a pale hazy yellow. Huge white head on this leaves a decent amount of lacing. Aroma is floral, lemon, straw. Taste is light bodied, slightly sweet with strong notes of lemon and pepper spice. Very crisp, lemony finish. Would be nice in the summer. joet (2606) - Wilsonville, Oregon, USA - APR 12, 2014
Green tinged golden liquid with a slim head of fine white foam. Creamy, spritzy feel. Very little bouquet. Mineral, white pepper, paper, earthy. Welcome taste just off dryness. An estery tropical note, phenolic bandage, medium to heavy bitterness in the finish. Lots of character for a little guy but too much bitterness and spice in the way of the saison greatest offerings: rustic simplicity and quaffability.
