Comes out of the tap a nice, bubbly, clear golden with a fine-bubbled white head. Hearty aroma is quite yeasty, with fruity and subtle malty notes. Crisp flavor has yeasty, malty, fruity, and coriander tones - definitely for sipping rather than chugging. Texture has average thickness and fizz, but scarcely subtracts from the enjoyableness of this brew. Swing a session with this one.

Draft at Beer and Bacon. Pours cloudy, bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Tastes like herbs, sweet lemon, musky grains. Light body and low carbonation. Light aroma of musky lemon and herbs.

superspak (5606) - Michigan, USA - OCT 17, 2013
12 ounce bottle into tulip glass, best before 8/13/2013. Pours moderately hazy golden straw color with a 2-3 finger dense and rocky white head with great retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Spotty foamy lacing clings on the glass, with some light streaming carbonation. Aromas of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, coriander, clove, pepper, ginger, wheat, bread, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. very nice aromas with good balance and complexity of yeast ester, spice, and moderate malt notes; with good strength. Taste of lemon zest, orange zest, pear, coriander, clove, pepper, ginger, wheat, bread, floral, grass, herbal, and yeast earthiness. Lingering notes of lemon, pear, coriander, clove, pepper, cracker, bread, floral, grass, and herbal on the finish for a good bit. Very nice complexity and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, spice, and moderate malt flavors; with great flavor robustness and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium-high carbonation and light-medium bodied; with a smooth and crisp mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with minimal warming present after the finish. Overall this is a very nice session saison style. Nice complexity, balance, and robustness of yeast, spice, and moderate malt flavors; and very smooth and crisp to drink. A very enjoyable offering.

Aren’t all Saisons sessionable? Well, to me at least. This one’s got a somewhat hazed straw body with a skinny little fizzy head. Interesting aroma. I don’t know what’s in it, but I pick up some coriander, ginger, and maybe some chamomile, all over a soft grainy sweetness. The flavor’s a bit spice forward, much like the nose, and has some citrus sweetness. The finish is dry and all spiced up, a bit too much for me, coating the mouth and staying there. Over all, not too shabby.

12 ounce bottle pours a light golden color with aromas of light spicy yeast, some pepper, grass, coriander and some light malt. Flavors follow suit, extremely sesionable, decent beer overall.

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma of spicy yeast, light malts, hints of light fruits, and hints of bitterness. Flavor the same with a pretty crisp finish. Average texture. A decent beer, but not the best of the style.

markwise (5441) - North of Tampa, Florida, USA - MAY 6, 2013
12oz bottle from ABC Wesley Chapel. Pours a hazy yellow with a white head. Nose is some light malt, some citrus, some fruity Belgian yeast, and some earthy notes. Flavor begins with some mildly sweet and apple-esque notes followed by a sweet and somewhat fruity Belgian yeast leading to a somewhat dry finish. Light in body and nicely sessionable.

nearbeer (5424) - Knoxville, Tennessee, USA - JUN 20, 2013
Pint on tap. Lightly hazy golden body with a lasting disc of cream on top. Mild aroma of pine resin and earthy lemon honey. Tastes of earthy beeswax, resin and a touch of white grape skins. Medium body is dry and tingly with high carbonation.

rumproasts (5359) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - JUN 18, 2013
bottle. Golden with one finger head. Light bodied saison with mild flavor and very little funk. Still, this is a very nice refreshing beer.

Aurelius (5335) - Tallahassee, Florida, USA - MAR 15, 2013
A sharp aroma that smells like you bathed a skunk in lemon juice. Misty, bright gold with a white filmy head. Good label, standard US longneck. Mineral, lightly astringent, lemon zest, funky notes. Medium to slightly light body, low carbo. Hoppy, lemon finish. ABC, Betton.
