Pours a hazy golden yellow on tap with fluffy white head that dissipates to leave light lacing. Aroma of spice, wheat, and a slight funk. Taste follows, slight bitter finish, clean and slightly tart. Good saison, but nothing that exciting.

Pours a soft and cloudy pale blonde with a sticky two finger tight white head. Very heavily spiced....very heavily. This one needs to take two steps back and breathe. Very raw and earthy aroma with a heavy spice component and very noticeable over ripe fruit character. Heavy with lemongrass and yeast. Sharp and pretty much astringent spice character in the mouth. I get a lot of ’Sorachi Ace’ here, may just be the herbal spice notes mixed with overripe fruit....which is what Sorachi Ace smells like to me.

A very nice session ale. Light, floral, and fruity with a balanced amount of spice. Bitterness is also understated.

callmemickey (4542) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 25, 2013
Hazy golden-yellow body, solid white head, soapy lacing. Nose show lemon zest, herbal and floral, light grains and yeast. Flavor is a bit more mellow with less definition. Medium to light bodied appropriate carbonation dry, refreshing finish.

17 June 2013, bottle. Light yellow, clear, steady bubbles, thick foamy head. Nose is light lemon, cobwebs, slightly spicy. Thin body and moderately fizzy. Light bitter lemon rind, mildly sweet, slightly spicy. Unique. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

The aroma is a bit watery, yeasty, and grainy with hints of citrus and lightly spicy. The appearance is hazy gold with a smallish head. The taste is like the aroma with pepper in the finish. The palate is thin. Overall drinkable but it does have an off astringent quality I am not a fan of.

Bottle. Pours a slightly hazy yellow color with a moderate white head. Nose is quite sour and with a bit of a wild farmhouse smell. Taste is slightly sour, but not overly flavorful. Meh.
