COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
It’s a lively jazz rhythm, a vigorous sway, a change of view or even a roll in the proverbial hay. Now it also means the welcome jolt of joy you’ll experience upon your first sip of this session saison. Bracing, but benign, this Belgian style ale enlivens any experience with a spicy, aromatic start, citrus snap and fresh finish. Swing into spring with taste!

Tasting poured in the aisle of Whole Foods in DC from who I assume was an employee but could have been a strange mentally challenged guy who just decided to start opening beers and pouring them for strangers. Either way, thanks! Pours a very, very light yellow with slight white head. Aroma is very muted with slight belgian spice, banana and wheat. Taste is a light saison that is very dry and slight white pepper.

Bottle. Pours gold with some cloudiness and a lot of activity. The aroma is yeast, hay, orange peel, and spice. The taste adds grass and lemon but lacks overall flavor. The mouthfeel comes on strong at first then instantly fades leaving an acidic aftertaste. Maybe too much lemon. Ok overall but, I wouldn’t get this again. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bought a case of this on sale for like $22 which was a steal of a deal. Poured a slightly hazy yellow with huge foamy white head. Aroma lemon yeasty. Flavor lots of sour lemon up front then biscuty middle. Found to be not a fan - too much citrus up front, bit too heavy of mouthfeel made it so I couldn’t drink multiple as a session beer.

no interest in drinking again - odd tasting with too much bitterness for a saison. wth is happening??

On tap at World of Beer. Golden in color with small white head. Spicy aroma and flavor. Light bodied. Good.

Bottle, 04/08/2013. Pours pale golden orange, lively fizzy white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma is lemon wheat and light malts, haze of yeast, chamomile, spices. Taste is pale malts, peppery spices and grassy herbal hops. Light palate, though perhaps a bit chalky. Was hoping for a little more finesse, but still alright for a light drinker.

pours clear yellow gold with nice light white head. Aroma is citrus and spicy peppercorns. Taste is lighter on the spices than i would have expected, still has the hints of citrus and spice with a nice light bitter finish.

I’ve been liking this a lot. nice spritzy head with lacing. Very bright, sharp and dry up front and then the peppery spice comes in followed by a bit more herbal character and finishing light and somewhat lemony. A beer in three cohesive parts. And a low ABV keeps it refreshing.

Huge spicy perfumey lemon basil nose. Gold color with nice lace. Light bready malt. More lemon and spices. Soft mouthfeel. Basil finish. Lemon rind bitterness. Tastes good but a little fake.

Poured a clear yellow color with a thin white head that faded quickly. Lots of lemon and citrus in the aroma with spices. Taste has lots of spices with floral notes and more lemon. Finish is a little bit sweet with lots of lemon and nutmeg. Overall it’s very refreshing but a little too heavy on the lemon.
