12 oz bottle. Pours hazy golden yellow with a big meringue white head that retains well and laces the glass.bhensonb (15190) - Woodland, California, USA - MAY 24, 2013
The aroma is fruits and funk with some piney, floral hops and perfumey spices.
The flavor is sweet bready malts with a little funky fruit and some spices (corriander, pepper) and a good sized piney floral bitterness in the finish. The mouthfeel is medium bodied with smooth carbonation.
Overall, I’m not sure I’d call it a saison. But I like it as a session beer with good bitterness and some funk.
Bottle from Total Wine in Sacramento, CA. Pours hazy light gold with a foamy white head. Aroma is fresh, but light earthy citrus. Med minus body. Flavor is lightly earthy and the flavor is something green. Had me thinking of very light bay leaf. Finishes clean, dry and a tad earthy. JCB (3999) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Bottle from Sam’s, Durham. All hail the session brew trend. Nicely lemonade-y pour, moderately cloudy, could almost pass for a Berliner crossed with a singel (the fluffy head of the latter gives this one away as farmhouse). Nice nose, citrus wakeup call and spice/yeast to complement. Full bodied, nicely spicy in places on the palate, I was pleased that the herbs didn’t get too assertive, allowing the more bitter and lightly hopped qualities to shine through. Well done. I should get some more. baraciisch (3234) - California, USA - JUN 2, 2013
Yellow orange in color... Light citrusy lemon aroma... Crisp flavor, spicy on the finish, gentle citrus notes throughout... Solid

Pint at Flipside on 5/6/13. Clear gold pour with a thick white head. Aroma of malt, herbs, Belgian yeast and pepper. Malty and herbal flavor with peppery and slight banana yeast before a dry finish. Pretty nice for a session saison. blankboy (7689) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 8, 2013
Bottle [12oz]. Pours a murky yellow-gold with a large lasting fluffy white head. Some lacing on the glass. Aroma of yeast, citrus, spices, herbs, light grassy hops and some bready, floral and earthy notes. Yeasty, citrusy and spicy flavour along with light hops and a dry herbal finish. Medium bodied. Pretty good, I personally like how spicy it is.

bottle. Golden with one finger head. Light bodied saison with mild flavor and very little funk. Still, this is a very nice refreshing beer. mcox90 (2088) - Wilton, New Hampshire, USA - JUN 24, 2013
12 oz bottle. Pours a bright yellow with two-finger foamy white head that retains some lace. Good looking beer. Yeasty bread like aroma with secondary spices. A little bit of farmhouse funk in the flavor. Some citrus, mostly lemon. Very yeasty. Light bodied and fizzy palate. No real aftertaste. Refreshing. Picked up a six for $8.00 at The Beer Store. Went back for, alas, it was gone. EricTeusink (700) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - JUN 26, 2013
This is a beer that I really enjoyed. I think the hip kids might not like it so much. It’s Miley Cyrus’s Party in the USA of beers. Smells like coriander and pours a dark pale. Flavor is spice with a touch of bitter. Very lively. Might have to grab six of these for my impending beach trip. Draft - Brick Store Pub - Decatur, GA
