12oz bottle into a tulip.
Pours a slightly hazy straw yellow with a one finger white head. Lots of tiny bubbles keep the head around for awhile but there are just a few spots of lacing clinging to the sides of the glass.
The aroma has quite a bit of sulphur in it which was interesting and not in a good way. Also a little skunkyness. Lemon along with some clove and banana that lets you know this is a Saison.
Thankfully the sulphur is pretty much absent from the flavor and what is left are the typical Belgian banana and clove but not quite as prominent as in other Saisons I have had. A little lemon and orange is thrown in there too with some bready grain underneath. Mouthfeel is not as dry as I was hoping for with some noticeable stickyness left on the finish. This suprised me given the low strength of this beer.
Overall, this is a solid offering from Victory but not exciting at all. A pretty tame beer although it does make for a great thirst quencher.

Taste is lightly bitter, floral/grassy hops, ester, medicinal notes, cracker. Palate is crisp, slick, bitter finish. Really nice at 4.5%. Bottle. Translucent gold pour with a short, dense, foamy white head. Spicy and grainy nose with hay, straw, flowers, yeast, earthy notes and herbs. Taste is spicy upfront with more grains, toasted malt, flowers, hay, straw notes, earthy hops, fresh herbs and citrus notes. Body is medium with a strong, prickly carbonation. Bottle poured a hazy gold with a lingering ring of white foam. Aromas of stra, yeast, lemon zest, coriander and white pepper. Palate was light bodied and smooth with a dry finish. Pours a clear to slightly cloudy well carbonated golden color with a solid off white head. Aroma is of lots of earthy/pepper notes, sawdust, citrus zest, mild bitterness. Taste is of pepper, earth, citrus, mild bitterness, hay, spice, light dry yeast on the finish.

Aromas of cardamom, herbs, ginger, and lemon peel. Straw-like complexion with a slight haze, and a mostly fading, white head. Dry, very floral, perfume-like, and somewhat spicy. Bottle, 04/08/2013. Pours pale golden orange, lively fizzy white head, nice retention and lacing. Aroma is lemon wheat and light malts, haze of yeast, chamomile, spices. Taste is pale malts, peppery spices and grassy herbal hops. Light palate, though perhaps a bit chalky. Pours a soft and cloudy pale blonde with a sticky two finger tight white head. Very heavily spiced....very heavily. This one needs to take two steps back and breathe.
Very raw and earthy aroma with a heavy spice component and very noticeable over ripe fruit character. Heavy with lemongrass and yeast. Sharp and pretty much astringent spice character in the mouth. I get a lot of ’Sorachi Ace’ here, may just be the herbal spice notes mixed with overripe fruit....which is what Sorachi Ace smells like to me.
