Bottle. Yellow color with a lot of white head. Smell is corn, malt, hop, LEMON, grass. Also smells dungy as in a swamp. Natural for sure, but something I don’t want to smell in a beer. Taste is more subdued but very wheaty. Some lemon, malt, hop. Thin body and medium carbonation. NikkTwist (3219) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 7, 2013
Draft at Moriartys. Slightly hazy honey gold pour with a large frothy white head. Feels like a very full wheat beer off the top but has a notable spicy citrus hop bite in the finish. Puffed wheat and black pepper. Bit unusual. Westmeister (2129) - Atlanta, Georgia, USA - MAR 9, 2013
Bottle. Unclear, bright yellow. Nose is initially slight wet straw/funk, heavy spice, lemon citrus. Comes of a bit odd to me. Taste is tangy lemony, grapefruit hints, coriander, funky straw. Refreshing, dry, interesting. Nephilium (1818) - Cleveland, Ohio, USA - MAR 10, 2013
Mild lemon and earthy aroma. Pours a hazy light yellow with almost no head. Light crisp flavor, with a touch of earthy notes and citrus. Very easy drinking, and a nice session beer. GT (10000) - San Diego, California, USA - MAR 16, 2013
355mL from Total Wine, Jax FL. Pours a bright golden with heavier sparkling carbonation. Soapy, bright white head. Good lacing. Nose at first is a lot of poopy toilet with lemon disinfectant, moving thankfully to chamomile and some gamey spices. But that poopy aroma is off putting. Taste is herbal adjunct bomb with chamomile, lavender, lemon peel. Intense herbal hops to drive it home. Palate is a bit chalky and mildly anesthetic/medicinal from the herb adjunct overload. Not so refreshing. I thought we got past the point of doing a spiced Belgian blonde ale = saison.

Bottle->shaker. Light gold with decent white head. Aroma has grains, yeast, citrus, pepper. Tastes of yeSt, spice, herbs, citrus. Light and mild. Drinkable. TheEpeeist (3709) - Media, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 21, 2013
12 oz bottle. Clear gold with a brief white head leaving sheets of lace. Nose is dough, light lemon and banana; simple but nice. Crisp then fluffy finishing with a buzz. Taste is lemon cookie, grass, ginger and radish. A touch of peppery heat lingers. I could do a sixer if i was in the right mood. jjgmd (2162) - Coral Springs, Florida, USA - MAR 26, 2013
Pours a semi clear light golden yellow with a small head. Nose is grass and wild outdoor spices. Taste is lemony, yeasty and full of spice. Obviously, very drinkable, but it is a session beer. Different but one time only. Finish is spicy as well, with lingering citrus. Quaff Score 6 / 10 ajnepple (6606) - Denver, Colorado, USA - MAR 27, 2013
12 oz bottle. Golden and hazy with one finger of white foam. Smells and tastes of yeast, lemons and spices. Light body with a dry and crisp feel. Finishes peppery and dry. milewide (2249) - Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA - APR 23, 2013
Spices overwhelm grain taste---but were tasty. Very clear for a saison. Average head and body. Lots of flavor for a session brew!
