I don’t think this is much of a saison but a nice drinkable beer if warm weather ever returns. Pours a pale yellow with a lacing head. The aroma has a lot of piney hops. The flavor as well with a nice sweet balance. Thin as to be expected. I could see myself pounding down a few of these after mowing the lawn. maekchu (4024) - Hirakata, JAPAN - MAR 14, 2013
Bottle from Village Wine and Spirits in Athens. Sweet ’n’ sour initial, with some light funk and peach-lemon juice. Nearly clear, pear juice, little head. Light sweet initial / mid has a bit of barn and some sort of spice / finish is gently bitter and moves to grass notes. Light body. Okay. Has some decent saison character. Very light-bodied stuff. alexsdad06 (10672) - West Chester, Ohio, USA - MAR 17, 2013
12 oz. bottle. Pours a slightly hazy golden color with a small to medium sized quickly disappearing white head. The aroma has a big herbal component, grass, light citrus with mild spices. The flavor also leans to the herbal side, light spices, grass, pale malts and light citrus. The key word with this is light; it is thin and soft on the flavors. I would put this in the worth trying once category. Nothing is bad, but there are many beers I would rather have again. HeadyDE (869) - Delaware, USA - MAR 22, 2013
Draft at 2SP..yellowish color..lemon aroma..some citrus also present..quite easy drinking..but this just lacked tht it factor that left a solid impression..was crisp and ok but just seems to be missing that typical saison profile.not getting much of the usual tastes and aromas..ok.not really much else to say.. ganache (6035) - New Jersey, USA - MAR 24, 2013
A fresh bottle. Strong and pleasantly herbal nose pushing lemon and rose hips in with the light tartness. With the cleanser feel, has some slight wittish character. Lightly hazy bright yellow body with a lacing white head. Taste is faintly sweet to start but dries out quickly as the bitterness picks up, not so much hoppy as stripping and herbal, nailing those medieval traditionals and bringing light flights of purifying astringency without the rubberiness. Peel and pepper, grainy hay. Clean yeast, fullish body, seems to be less alcoholic than it is, though I think I’d prefer a lighter body. Honestly, I’m uderwhelmed, but it’s fresh and repeatable.

Very light gold. Big fluffy head. Mild fresh basil scent, big fresh basil taste. Otherwise light bodied, flat flavors, not too good. MrChopin (4304) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - MAR 27, 2013
transparent gold, thin white bubbled head with decent lacing. Esters out of control after three pilsners, pepper, ginger, and lemongrass. Light dough adds balance. Peppery lemongrass flavor up front followed by dough and heavy citrus, finishing with bubblegum and crust hints. High carbonation accents esters, but overall pleasant. r464 (2362) - Earth, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 27, 2013
Tart, grassy, and full of yeast. Spice and pepper, citrus, then a trailing finish. Light and punchy. AirForceHops (7702) - Epping, New Hampshire, USA - MAR 29, 2013
12 oz. bottle from Top Shelf Brews. Snifter displays a nice unfiltered gold with small white head, leaving lace down the sides. Nose is limes, lemon zest and a zesty spice. Taste is mostly identical to the nose with the addition of honey and dry grassy hops. Light pepper in the finish.
