Bottle sample at a tasting at the Beer & Beyond shop. Thanks Yoav. Hazy yellow to pale golden. Aroma of sage, a hint of za’atar, more spices and a bit of yeasty fruitiness. Fruity and yeasty flavor with spices, sage, and a dry finish. Medium-bodied.

Pours a hazy yellow with a thins white head. Aromas of yeast and spice. Flavor is spicy with some of the Belgian yeast slightly coming through and some citrus but nothing really dominating the other. Overall not bad but nothing to write home about.

Bottle @ home via trade with pineypower, I believe. Pours a cloudy, light yellow orange appearance with a fluffy, off white head. Very floral, spicy potpourri, lemon zesty, spicy yeasty, very citrusy aroma. The aroma is a lot more spicy than I would like but it’s ok. Big spicy, coriander, dry floral, lavender, herbal, dry grainy, citrusy flavor that finishes pretty smooth. Too spiced for my taste but it isn’t bad per se.

Pours light yellow with a bit of frothy head. Aromas of spic and malt with a bit of yeast but not too drastic. Taste is a combination of sweet malty hay with a bit of hoppy notes near the end. Overall a decent beer for the spring

Hazed pour. Lemony spice, breadcrust in the aroma. Flavor is vey citrusy, lemony, herbs, slight bitterness, peppery spice in the finish.

Bottle: Thanks, Jeff. Pours nuclear, piss-like yellow with a mild haze about it; gray-tinted, mostly white head quickly fades to a soapy looking collar. Aroma has notes of lemongrass, clove gum, faint citrus, & a hint of funky must. Fresh, bright, albeit a little mild. Taste has lots of dry cotton funk up front, followed by vague citrus notes, lots of yeast, mild white pepper, & a touch of bittering hops that bite in the finish. Crisp, clean finish. Nothing too special here, but decent for something you can easily slam.

Draft at Beer and Bacon. Pours cloudy, bright yellow with a fizzy white head. Tastes like herbs, sweet lemon, musky grains. Light body and low carbonation. Light aroma of musky lemon and herbs.
