I’ve been liking this a lot. nice spritzy head with lacing. Very bright, sharp and dry up front and then the peppery spice comes in followed by a bit more herbal character and finishing light and somewhat lemony. A beer in three cohesive parts. And a low ABV keeps it refreshing. j12601 (13027) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - OCT 3, 2014
Bottle. Pours a hazed golden amber with a thin white head. Lemon and spicy citrus on the nose, grain and musk. Medium bodied, lemon and musk. Spicy yeast into the finish. Very tasty.

UPDATED: MAR 21, 2013 On tap at brewpub. Pale clear gold with white head. Rotten eggs dominated and ruined this for me. Wheat, lemon, pepper, floral. Moderately bitter. Light, crisp body.
Bumped up the score for the bottle. What I took for rotten eggs in the draft is like something else in the bottle. A tad disagreeable, but not awful. A lot of grapefruit as well as well as some butterscotch. Bumping up my score on this one. I’m starting to dig this as a session beer. daveshawley (27) - Doylestown, Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 3, 2013
12 oz, chilled, poured into a pint glass. Pours a light straw color with a smallish crisp white head that dissipates almost immediately though small bubbles rise continuously. Aroma is a mixture of grass, barnyard, clear lemony citrus tones, and a nice hit of pilsner malts. The grassiness comes through in the taste along with some lemon followed by some piney notes hidden in the bitter. The finish is crisp and dry with a little bitterness. Heavy wheat and oats in nose. Mild sulfur. Mild lemon and floral notes. Pepper and citrus peel added in flavor. Very light and crisp.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - 12 oz bottle. Pours a slightly sparkling, but kinda murky light golden with a bubbly white head. Aroma is fresh and grassy with some bubblegum accents. Flavor is refreshingly chewy with a sharp saffron-like spiciness, some bubble gum sweetness, a hint of yeast. Mouthfeel has a nice thickness to it. Pretty solid. mansquito (6784) - Nueva York, New York, USA - MAR 21, 2013
Somewhere... 12oz: Pours light golden with a white head. Aroma is farmhouse funk, flowers, and spice. Taste is bitter at the front. Funky. Full saison taste with a light body. Some aftertaste. Almost no sweetness. Huhzubendah (3736) - Washington DC, USA - APR 3, 2013
The body is transparent and pale straw with a little over an inch of fluffy white head. the aroma brings hops, funk, farm, sunshine, lemons, lemon rind, grass, a touch of spice. Nice floral notes and hops. Light and refreshing. I’m really digging the light body and low alcohol. A thirst quencher of a beer, and packed with flavor. I’ll have no trouble with this sixer and definitely see this as a repeat purchase for hot weather beer consumption, i.e. lawnmowing beer. queenholly (3623) - South Whitley, Indiana, USA - APR 4, 2013
Bottle. Belgian yeast, slight funk, citrus, and floral spice aroma. Hazy straw gold with a large white head. Light bready/yeasty malt, citrus, honey, floral grassy hops, and light spice flavor - a bit of peppercorn. Light body, lively carbonation, dry finish. Tasty, easy drinking. lamas (1651) - Washington DC, USA - APR 20, 2013
Bottle. Enjoy by: 07/21/13. Pours a slightly hazy amber with a skim of a beige head. A zesty aroma of citrus rinds, oranges, pineapples, bananas, bubblegum, candi sugar, cloves, nutmeg, light coriander, pepper, and a sizable yeastiness. Semi-sweet upfront taste-wise with a little candi sugar and bubblegum. Some cereal grains and zesty citrus rinds follow. Spicy. Yeasty. Kinda tangy. More than a few dashes of pepper in the moderately dry finish. Very enjoyable and very sessionable for a saison.
