Hazy golden. Have a noble aroma, though maybe a little dull. Moderate bitterness...Tettnang isn’t my favourite noble hop, so not surprising I not entranced by this beer. j12601 (12982) - Poughkeepsie, New York, USA - MAR 1, 2011
On tap at Holy Smoke. Pours a clear lightly hazed gold with a medium sized white head. Crisp grain, and a touch of sweetness. Earthy and musky, almost a hint of cat pee, and some hops. Medium bodied, but it thins out quickly. Crisp grain and some sweetness. Slow gentle bitter finish.

On tap at the Victory Brew Pub. Poured a lighter yellow color with a small sized white head. Aromas of some grassiness...I wasn’t getting too much else. Tastes of the same grassiness with a lighter sweetness. Plain and simple. slowrunner77 (12471) - Reno, Nevada, USA - OCT 6, 2014
"a yellow gold tettnang pilsner. aroma of subte fruit and hops. looks & feels average. flavor better than expected. a very solid pilsner and different enough from Prima to take notice of both."

Bottle (Tettnanger Pils)... RBSG ‘08... Lightly hazed, straw-colored lager with a small, creamy, white head. Very spicy, cat piss-like aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with supple carbonation. Pleasantly sweet; sufficiently bitter. Finishes bittersweet and then dries out big-time. Thanks to Greg Koch for breaking this one out for our table to try! Draft at Victory. Pours gold with white head. Nose is hops, pale malt, citrus. Tastes hoppy in a Saazy sense, with pale malt, slight sweetness but overall bitter, and a crisp bite in the finisgh. An excellent pils. JorisPPattyn (10061) - BELGIUM - APR 23, 2008
Full name Braumeister Tettnanger Pils. Above marks for the Tettnanger. For the Select, see underneath. They’re not the same. Huge white head, golden beer. Very malty nose - dry, clean malts and nothing else. Bitterish taste, going over in very grainy flavours. Light bodied. Very clean, but just not overly enjoyable.
Braumeister Select Pils Yellow gold, little head. Grainy nose, very dry. Grain again, but with a certain corn-like sweetness, and a slightly metallic tang. Perfumey finish as from "violettes". Dry, nearly astringent and nearly dry-out effect. I’d rather brew 1 good one, than 3 dubious.
