COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic style bitter is full and creamy on the tongue with no 'bite' as the name might suggest. Golden in color and mild in character, it's a 'session' beer that satisfies. Served hand pumped from the beer engine.

Sampler at the brew pub. A very bitter cask ale with an off-white head and amber body. Not my style, but for those who like a bitter beer I would think this would more than satisfy.

On cask at the Commonwealth Gastropub in DC. This was one of the finest cask ales and bitter beers that I have ever had. Smooth silky mouthfeel with a bitter but satisfying bite to it.

Cask at coopers. Poured a dark burnt orange color with a nice big white head. Aroma is some hops and very mild malt sweetness. Taste is nice and smooth. Very drinkable. Great session beer.

On cask at the brewpub. Beautiful dark orange amber pour with a thick creamy white head. Looks wonderful. Aroma is just barely hoppy with some subtle malt characteristics. Flavor is super smooth, a little aqueous, but overall kind of bland. Forgettable session beer but pretty.

Brewed in the USA..... Pours an amber color with a nice thick creamy head. Aroma is not very exciting !!! malts and some mild hops. Taste is much of the same with the addition of bread, The mouthfeel was super clean and finishes smooth.

Sampled on cask at brewpub and tasted while taking tour of the operations. The right smoothness coupled with a bitter finish. Hop presence keeps this from being bland, nice.

On the hand pump at Coopers. I liked this beer alot, had a smoothness they made it real easy to drink. But whats with the 3.9%??? Lost some points with me on that one.

On hand pump at Coopers. Clear cooper color with a bitter grainy, hops aroma. Creamy. Flavor of grain, hops, and a bitter finish. Mild and tame makes it very drinkable.
