I received this in a trade with jwc215...thanks, Joe!
This pours from 12oz bottle(best by Jun 19 07) a clear, bubbly straw gold colour with a large head of foam. It settles down after a while but stays for the entire session as a fine layer and there's lacing.
The smell hasa pretty hoppy aroma mixed in with some malty tones.
The taste on first sip has a nice hoppy presence... I'm getting some lemon zest. Further sips in and there's some non sweetish malt and bread there but they are on the light side. It finishes crisp and clean and makes for a good thirst quencher.
The body is light as is the carbonation. I like this one and it has a good German feel to it.
Bottom line: This is a good Lager...no bells or whistles, just a good solid Lager. I'd drink it again. aleksander9 (1897) - Oslo, NORWAY - JUL 19, 2017
-On tap Røør, Oslo- Malty, light spicy and floral. Super smooth and balanced finish. Great! Larry_Duffman (598) - - MAY 26, 2017
I had it from the bottle. The taste is grain, apple, and honey. It’s a nice and refreshing beer for the hot weather. katdaddy4 (2) - - MAY 20, 2017 does not count

12floz bottle, BBD 08.28.2017, $1.50/unit price, pint glass. Here is a clear, golden lager with minimal head like a macro (not great, but it doesn’t matter much). Good authentic bready and earthy aroma. Clean and crisp, this is what I like in a pale lager. Very satisfying flavor of light grains and that is all. Pure simplicity.

Poured light gold. Faint bready aroma. Taste is wheat bread, but dry. Tastes like a slightly better Budweiser. Good entry point for non-craft-beer drinkers. Gearz (80) - Maryland, USA - APR 12, 2017
I think people are being overly critical about this beer. It's the beer at Victory you order for he person at the table who only drinks Bud Light.
I think it was a bad idea to rename this beer. V Lager you don't expect much. Helles Lager and people think it's supposed to be something special.
Smells a little like apple juice concentrate and honey. Sweet taste with a crisp refreshing mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Good summer/lawn mower beer.
If you want something a little more ballsy but in the same spectrum, I'd recommend their Prima Pils.

12 ounce bottle. Bright gold color. Small bubbly white head. Crisp, malty nose. Light grainy malt flavor. Slightly sweet and light bodied. Light hop bitterness in finish. Easy drinking. A notch below the traditional German Helles lagers, but good nonetheless. papat444 (136) - Carignan, Quebec, CANADA - MAR 14, 2017
Appearance: A starkly clear pale yellow body with tiny bubbles and a generous white head. Nice looking.
Smell: Um, smells a little like adjuncts here. I get some lemon & a grassy feel but can’t help but feel the aroma is only a notch higher than a BMC.
Taste: A little better with a strong lemon overtone and some cereal or wheat also. Has a distinct aftertaste, like sulfur. Again, i find it tastes a little better than most macros but still, i kind of expected more.
Mouthfeel: Not too great. While it has a good zest and active carbonation that makes it lively, i find it soapy and not too comfortable in the palate.

On tap at KSQ. Golden yellow with a foamy frothy head and spotty lacing. Tons of bubbles racing to the top. Aromas of mild bready cereal, grains and light yeast. Taste is clean with basic lightly sweet malts, and light fruity yeasty esters. Light bodied, generous carbonation, smooth mouthfeel and a crisp finish.
