(12oz bottle, best by 8/7/05) Clear straw body topped by medium white head that dissipates fairly quickly. Aroma is medium sweet, grassy, some bread. Taste is medium sweet, bread, grassy, some apple, light corn. Minimal bitterness. Light body. A lawnmower beer, so I guess I should consider it in such terms, but this falls way short of what Victory is capable of. BrewEd (182) - Wilmington, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2005
Bottle: light golden in color with a malty/grassy aroma. For the type its a very decent brew - however the type is one which is not known for complexity or character. One of the better lawn mower beers. Victory has so many excellent beers this one just pales in comparison - pun intended. 00cobraR (1103) - Greensboro, North Carolina, USA - MAY 27, 2005
Pours a nice golden yellow with a large white head. Has a nice malty straw flavor with a wonderful corn aroma. Over all one of the best lagers ive ever drank Cows9 (41) - Dumont, New Jersey, USA - MAY 15, 2005
Pours clear straw and very light. Aroma is basic with a very slight undertone of mushrooms. Taste is rather generic. You can taste a bit of malt but overall this beer is not up to par with the other victory beers. There is nothing unique here which is what makes the other beers stand out. A good, clean, & crisp lager. The aroma is citrusy, strong malt, and slightly doughy sweet. Taste is rather boring, little hops feel besides the dry finish. Its just Aight.

Bottle. Nose-very earthy, like fresh shucked corn. Kinda wet and moldy smelling. Taste-very fresh-hay, straw, clay, light dry spices, light clove and a “corny” taste. Sweet lingering finish. Very crisp, clean, and enjoyable. Kevin (2217) - Montana, USA - APR 30, 2005
pour is lemon yellow that is see through. white light head that rings quickly. aroma is like a toned down grolsch, lumpy will dig this aroma i bet. notes of acorns and hay in here also. flavor is clean refreshing light sweetness with a touch of bitter on the backside. kind of wheaty tasting somehow. a nice lawnmower beer.i can appreciate this one even though it isn’t my style at the moment. Bright gold, thin head. Nose lightly grassy, some floral character. Nice taste here, crisp and a bit citric, good hoppy bite, finishes with a nice balance of sweet malts. Good stuff. Rballs01 (282) - Madison, New Jersey, USA - APR 11, 2005
Pours a nice light gold. Small head that quickly disappears. The flavor is somewhat buttery. Nice bite from the hops but not much malt, which is strange b/c of the name, "All Malt Lager". ?? Overall, a nice easy-drinking beer. Good for the weather to come. swirl (267) - collingswood, New Jersey, USA - MAR 27, 2005
This is a basic lager with a strong malt flavor. Not a bad beer just not one of my particular favorites.
