COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Previously known as All Malt Lager (Helles) & V Lager

There was a time when all beer tasted this good. Back when immigrant Brewmasters turned fresh malts and hops into liquid gold. Before big business lessened our precious beer with corn and rice. Having trained in Germany, we thirst for better beer. So, we brew better beer like this crisp, golden, helles-style lager. Brewed with patience from quality German malts and hops, it is a Victory for Your Taste!

Malt: Imported 2 row German malts

Hops: Whole flower German hops

Pours a nice golden yellow with a large white head. Has a nice malty straw flavor with a wonderful corn aroma. Over all one of the best lagers ive ever drank

Pours clear straw and very light. Aroma is basic with a very slight undertone of mushrooms. Taste is rather generic. You can taste a bit of malt but overall this beer is not up to par with the other victory beers. There is nothing unique here which is what makes the other beers stand out.

A good, clean, & crisp lager. The aroma is citrusy, strong malt, and slightly doughy sweet. Taste is rather boring, little hops feel besides the dry finish. Its just Aight.

Bottle. Nose-very earthy, like fresh shucked corn. Kinda wet and moldy smelling. Taste-very fresh-hay, straw, clay, light dry spices, light clove and a “corny” taste. Sweet lingering finish. Very crisp, clean, and enjoyable.

pour is lemon yellow that is see through. white light head that rings quickly. aroma is like a toned down grolsch, lumpy will dig this aroma i bet. notes of acorns and hay in here also. flavor is clean refreshing light sweetness with a touch of bitter on the backside. kind of wheaty tasting somehow. a nice lawnmower beer.i can appreciate this one even though it isn’t my style at the moment.

Bright gold, thin head. Nose lightly grassy, some floral character. Nice taste here, crisp and a bit citric, good hoppy bite, finishes with a nice balance of sweet malts. Good stuff.

Pours a nice light gold. Small head that quickly disappears. The flavor is somewhat buttery. Nice bite from the hops but not much malt, which is strange b/c of the name, "All Malt Lager". ?? Overall, a nice easy-drinking beer. Good for the weather to come.

This is a basic lager with a strong malt flavor. Not a bad beer just not one of my particular favorites.

On tap at Victory. Fine for a lager. Although, I don’t see much appeal in any beer that proclaims itself "All-Malt." Boring by definition and they get what they’re going for.

I am not a lager lover, but I have been impressed with all of Victory’s offerings. So this one was a pleasant surprise. There is a sweetness that is not too strong, and definitely pushes the malt on you. Still thin, but not so much as other lagers that I have been disappointed in. Not bad, but I would recommend other Victory beers above this one.
