pours clear bright yellow with a small white cap, little retention and lacing. grassy noble german hops, fresh maltiness and cereals - slightly corny, hint of sulfur, some fruitiness, chalky and slightly dusty/minerals. hint of cardboard and lemon. moderate carbonation, light body, dry crisp and lightly bittering herbal-grassy finish. quenching. underwhelmed by its macro-allure. o-k, still.. bmerz (741) - Brooklyn, New York, USA - FEB 25, 2014
Draught at barcade. Very light and clear no head or lace. Aroma is light crisp lemony, dry grass, biscuit sweetness. Flavor is very similar. Slight metallic end. Feel is watery, zingy, refreshing. Very drinkable and nice for what it is. Always happy to have a decent classic lager option. stevoj (5867) - Boise, Idaho, USA - FEB 17, 2014
Nicely done helles. Crisp, clear and light. Malt at the forefront in both taste and aroma. Slick mouthfeel and bread, grains for a short finish. Good sunny day beer. tillmac62 (767) - Gaffney, South Carolina, USA - JAN 8, 2014
EBD 3/4/14. Clear light golden pour with a nice head and normal lacing. Laid back nose of what strikes me as Hallertau hops, very slight. Light medium body with light carbonation. This a nice Helles that is to style. The taste is laid back, as is the nose, and light with the expected effervescence. A slight sweetness coupled with a bit of hop flavor and bitterness constitutes the flavor profile. Crisp and clean finish with a touch of lingering bitterness. firemarshal (206) - North Carolina, USA - JAN 4, 2014
Bottle. Clear. Pale straw color. Bits of sediment visible. Sweet malty aroma. Licorice, floral, starch. Taste is licorice, bubblegum, wheat. Palate is smooth, refreshing, long astringent finish. Good brew.

Bottle. Golden pour. Small white head. Strong floral aroma. Mild fruity flavor (good fruity - not bad fruity). Clean crisp finish. Not grainy. Pulled this out of a singles cooler strictly based on the strong reputation of Victory. No expectations of a wow factor from a lager, but this was very solid for the style. Pale blonde with decent train of upward carbonation feeding a ring of head. Surprisingly malty nose for such a pale looking lager. A lovely fresh grainyness with heaping dose of Munich malt and melanoidins. Similarly, the flavor is malty with a strong melanoidin/malt ball component, but altogether crisp, clean and quaffable. To sum up--more than meets the eye. radio_nowhere (1474) - Maryland, USA - NOV 29, 2013
Bottle into pint glass, hazy straw-golden color with white head. Aroma of malt sweetness, corn and slight grassy/hay hop note. Taste is malt sweetness balance with light grassy/hay hop bitterness. Light body, moderate carbonation, crisp, with clean finish. More depth then the typical macro, even Yuengling. Jay_Dubbz (103) - Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Poured from a 12oz bottle. Nice offering from Victory as one would expect. Simple yet tasty and a nice drinking lager.

Bottle. Pours a pale hazy yellow with thin, bubbly, diminishing, white head with soapy lace. Nose of hay, citrus and cooked corn. Medium to light body, slight carbonic bite. Taste of lipstick, cardboard, hay, honey, lemon. I do not enjoy this even by my low lager standards.
