Previously known as All Malt Lager (Helles) & V Lager

There was a time when all beer tasted this good. Back when immigrant Brewmasters turned fresh malts and hops into liquid gold. Before big business lessened our precious beer with corn and rice. Having trained in Germany, we thirst for better beer. So, we brew better beer like this crisp, golden, helles-style lager. Brewed with patience from quality German malts and hops, it is a Victory for Your Taste!

Malt: Imported 2 row German malts

Hops: Whole flower German hops

crossovert (12934) - Chicago, Illinois, USA - OCT 22, 2016
355ml bottle. Nice clear pale pour, white head. ARoma is malty, herbal but with a peanuty malt character. Falvor is again herbal peanut. It a weird helles, but its decent.

hopdog (12510) - Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 17, 2004
Poured a light yellow and an averaged sized head. Aromas of musty, yeast and wet grass. Light and sweet tasting. Too light for my tastes. I like Victory beers a lot, but this is on the bottom of my list.

3.2
jcwattsrugger (12420) - Florida and, New Jersey, USA - AUG 14, 2005
12 oz bottle-pours a thick head, quickly reduces to very thin. Color is a clear pale yellow. Aroma is grain-sweet malt. Taste is grain-sweet malt, mild carbonation (to start). Dry finish. Only drawback, the carbonation diminishes throughout the glass of beer. 3.2 -on tap-pours a straw/yellow color with no head. Taste is a smooth grain, light on the carbonation. 3.0

Sammy (12204) - Toronto, Ontario, CANADA - JUN 4, 2005
mediocre malty lager. But of head, something people watching a hockey game would down without thinking, or tasting. Malty, significant carbonation.

"i think this one was way better than the avg. indicates. grand champion indeed. might wanna change that all malt lager pic though - different beer. mellow but enticing earthy fruity aroma. wonderful to taste and very well balanced. one of the best in catergory."
