Watch out! This bitch will bite you with her citricy snatch. Carefull she might leave a mark. She leaves lace as most dirty girls do and she looks excellent. Not my favorite beer but can appreciate her quality.
Rich toffee nose with raisins and prunes. Moderately sweet taste, caramel and toffee, some light oxidation-sherry, some plums. Medium/full body is soft with light carbonation. Acetobacter (816) - Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 6, 2010
(2002 Vintage) Enjoyed from a 750ml bottle in a whiskey snifter. The beer pours a deep ruby/brown color, with a surprisingly lively head, given the fact that the beer was eight years old. Initially very evident in the nose is a strong malt backbone of Belgian specialty grains: caramel and raison. No hop aroma is detectable, but its absence is hardly missed, given a wonderful tinge of sourness that greets the nose instead. The palate is tremendous, balancing the weight of 10%abv with the sourness left by bugs before they petered out from the alcohol’s sanitation power. Malt, sourness, and just the smallest hind of alcohol, before a semi-dry finish. This is easily the best beer I’ve sampled from Victory; no small feat. Wonderful. Bottle. Pours an amber body with an off white head. Fruit laden etoh with fruity esters dark plums, raspberries, and hint so fruit juice. A Mildly tart lush fruit etoh finish. Good stuff. TomDecapolis (4618) - Milton, Delaware, USA - DEC 10, 2009
Thanks to weeareoutonadate for sharing this retired beer. Pours a deep hazy amber with a lot of floaties and a medium bubbly creamy off white head. (Sample Date: 6/6/2009 Source:Other) RB Richmond Gathering. Bottle dated Nov. 7 2003 courtesy of the thebeergod. Big caramelized sugar notes with some dark fruit aroma. Cloudy very dark amber. Rich maltyness with a earthy sour Brett twang which, if unintended, really does not detract from the beer.

Bottle courtesy of TheBeerGod at the 8th Richmond Gathering on 06/06/2009. Bottled on Nov 07, 2003. Hazy dark amber body with a medium dense creamy tan head. Somewhat tart molassas and caramel aroma with some fruitiness. Fruity caramel and molassas flavor, some sour notes. Medium light body with high carbonation. Probably a flemish sour by this point.

Bottle Dated 11-7-03: Thanks to BeerGod for dropping this one by. A nice sour and musky aroma. Pure red body with a light ivory head. A very sour initial hit with a good amount of malts and berry hints in the taste. Smooth ending. Overall it’s bordering on a Flemish sour style beer at this age, though this might be due to a bit of an infection. Drake (13954) - Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA - JUN 6, 2009
750 mL bottle shared by TheBeerGod. Bottled 11/7/03. Pours a murky copper brown color with a thin head. Decent retention and lacing. Aroma is toffeeish and lightly tart with currant and berry notes. Taste is significantly more tart with big berry notes, cherries, butter, toffee. Full bodied. Alcohol is barely noticeable. Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 22, 2008
Thanks to argo0 for sharing. Pours a hazy with some yeast chunkiness, deep fruit juicy amber with a fizzy bubbly head. Aroma is oxidized fruits, over-ripe plums and peaches, raisin, soy oxidation, sweet caramel malts and orangey citrus yeastiness with light alcohol. More oxidation in the flavor, some soy, weird paper astringency, very tannic, and grape-skinny, fruity esters, grapefruit and orange rind- and more old malty sweetness. Finishes a bit oxidized and metallic. TURDFERGUSON (4058) - Durham, North Carolina, USA - JUL 15, 2008
750mL bottle, from 2002, sampled at the 1st Annual Shenandoah Beer Throwdown, courtesy of argo0. Thanks, Aaron! Pours a hazy reddish orange with a small off-white head. Nose is slightly oxidized with some tart red fruits, caramel, a bit of brown sugar. Flavor is also slightly tart, but not altogether in a bad way, with some dark fruits and oxidation.
