2017/05/14 - Pours a hazy, deep orange honey colour with a soapy white head that quickly dissipates and leaves no lacing. Aroma is Belgian yeast, banana, bubblegum, toffee, honey, brown sugar, candied fruit (pears, orange, dark fruit) and sweet bread. Taste is more candied fruit, bready yeast notes, toffee, honey, medicinal notes and sweet alcohol. Mouthfeel is medium to full and syrupy with smooth carbonation and a sweet, medicinal, warming finish. I found this to be almost too sweet, but overall rather enjoyable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Amber pour, small head. Nose of thick, sweet honeyed malt, Belgian yeast, carnelized pears, other sticky dripping cooked fruits. Again sweet, honeyed, and caramelized fruits on the mouth. Nice yeast that keeps it grounded and not cloying. Some various grains shine through in the middle/finish. Impressive beer from Victory.

A malted sugar bomb. honey and dark sugars. No hop balance. Very in your face. Intense and strong sugars. Not my thing.

(Bottle) Cloudy orange-red copper body with big, quickly dissipating off-white head. Big malty aroma, alcohol, fruit/orange, honey, some spices, vanilla. Light to medium body; mostly flat. Alcohol is very prominent, warming. Flavor has bourbon, vanilla, cinnamon, caramel, moderate yeast; strong bitterness.

Dark orange color with small off-white head and very little oily lacing. Aroma is fruity and sweet with figs and raisins, caramel malts, and bubblegum. Flavor is rich, with caramel malts and vinous notes, sweet raisins, and medicinal robitussin notes. Mouthfeel is thick and chewy, with slight alcohol presence. Very good overall- delicious! And only $7.99 for the 750!

A distinctly malty beer with notes of honey. It's definitely on the sweeter side for an ale. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

From a bomber. Pours out a light copper and makes a medium beige head. Aroma is of caramel, booze, and brown sugar. Tastes of dark fruits, malted barley, and yeast. A very good interpretation of the Belgian quad. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from the source, cellared for about six years, although the "bottled on" date is blank. Chillhazy amber color, big fluffy very light tan head. Aroma has caramel candy, vanilla, light spice. Taste is lightly peppery sweet caramel and brown bread. Silky smooth mouthfeel with little hint of booze. Delicious.
