hopscotch (11048) - Vero Beach, Florida, USA - OCT 13, 2005
Growler… Clear orange lager with a mid-sized, creamy, white head. Earthy, malty nose with notes of must, caramel and black pepper. Perfectly balanced with fresh hop bitterness biting into a chewy lump of caramel goodness. Medium-bodied with a mildly oily mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Dry, refreshing finish. Good with food.

DocLock (10652) - Lower Pottsgrove, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Pours dark straw, with aroma of malt, toffee, some citrus, and some fruit. Tastes malty, with some toffee, fruit, and nuts at the finish.

egajdzis (6501) - Pennsburg, Pennsylvania, USA - JUL 5, 2004
Poured a golden color with a small white head, and no real lacing. Bready, light citrus, lightly malty aroma. Toasted dough, sweet and chewy malt, very light citrus malts.

Dickinsonbeer (5074) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - JUL 12, 2004
Light amber, very clear with moderate white fluffy head and good lacing. Not as hoppy overall as some vienna’s and very strong. However the strength is hidden very well and only hits you after 2 beers. Very malty and bready with a medium motuhfeel. Exceptionally drinkable for a strong lager.

aracauna (3585) - Georgia, USA - JUN 5, 2004
The body is medium gold with little flashes of amber. The head is definitely a good one. This is a moderately malty lager with an almost honey nose. I was impressed.

TAR (2742) - Blue Ridge Mountains, North Carolina, USA - JUL 2, 2004
Draft: Ambery golden. Sticky-bubbled whisp of foam. Toasted bread, unspent malt aroma. Fairly airy with hints of pumpkin stem and peach skins. Soft, yet firm, carbonation. Slick-bodied. Frontal bready malt flavors touched with sassy hops. Lovely yeast character. Slightly tangy with roasted malts and leather hints. Hops pickup toward the finish and unleash plenty of bushy, earthy bitterness and lush toasted malts. Roasted wood and spicy hops linger amid notes of mineral and peach pit. Not bad, but I expected more from these lager masterminds.

pivo (2685) - GERMANY - JUL 24, 2004
TAP: light nose, gold color, foamy head. Wasn’t expecting much but this really got better the more I got into it. Light caramelly malt with a little citrus. Late-arriving gritty bitter in the center of the tongue. Smooth round edges. Pretty damn good and true to style.

3.2
YogiBeera (2569) - New Jersey, USA - JUL 24, 2004
Straw yellow, little head. Orange and hop nose. Grainy and ray taste, also sweet. Goes dwon like nothing.

jeffc666 (1984) - Fairfax, Virginia, USA - JUN 27, 2004
Clear amber body with a dense white head. Bready lager aroma. Nice malty lager flavors, bread and a decent hoppy hit. Medium bodied and goes down easy. Nice beer overall.

3.2
wilkie (1208) - Raleigh, North Carolina, USA - MAY 30, 2005
Draught. Pale golden, white head, aroma is slightly grainy. Flavor is similar, crips finish, with a grassy aftertaste. Simple beer, made fairly well.
