Draft- pours light brown w/ off white foamy head. Aroma is more coffee than beer. The opposite goes for the flavor. Fairly run of the mill brown ale that definentaly benefits from the coffee addition. Mouthfeel is medium & finish holds a good amount of coffee flavor. On draught at La Cave du Vin. The beer is a clear light brown color with a medium thin and foamy light beige head that recedes steadily. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Aroma of roasted coffee and malt. Light to medium body with a roasty coffee character and notes of sweet malt and faint hops. The finish is mildly bitter with a lingering coffee aftertaste. Above average overall. Tmoney99 (15135) - Cincinnati, Ohio, USA - OCT 29, 2011
Tap sample at CBW. Poured clear brown with an average off-white frothy head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate to heavy sweet roasted coffee aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture with flat carbonation. Medium sweet coffee smooth flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. I would recommend this to a freind.

Ok. So this rating is based on the craziness of this beer. Everything minus the temp and thickness is coffee. It smells tastes and texture is coffee. Insanely made. boxofrane (2559) - Spring City, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 22, 2011
Draft. Dark and smells of chocolate and coffee. I truly loved this brew. I hope it doesn’t get put on the shelf.

Medium brown with a nice off-white head. Aroma is mostly coffee upfront with background malts and light toast. Medium bodied. Flavor does remind me of a cup of coffee, however that is not to say it is like drinking a coffee. Finish has medium hop bitterness. Very much a light brown ale with coffee in the mix. Not an over the top roasted coffee flavor like so many coffee stouts but a more relaxed coffee flavor that is very evident but not harsh. Easily sessionable, interesting and enjoyable. jeff789 (1423) - West Chester, Pennsylvania, USA - OCT 19, 2011
Clear brown small white head, ... coffee aroma, light malts, light bitter aroma.... lots of coffee flavor, light easy drinking, pretty much tastes like cold coffee, dry finish, decent, but doesnt bring much more to the table than coffee flavor, good but less complex than furthermore oscura... On draft at Capone’s, where it was called Victory Village Coffee. I think it is supposed to remind you of a fresh cup of coffee from a little village coffee shop, or something like that. It seemed more like a coffee porter than a BA to me. Pretty light and malty with a some coffee spunk. I was expecting a strong, cold weather brew, but you could enjoy this in mid-summer. Tap at Capone’s and later at Victory. Pours a clear amber red with not much of a head. Nose is muted green coffee. Taste is cold, bitter, gritty coffee. Watery though clean mouthfeel. Good session beer underneath but coffee addition is just not needed. Pretty harsh as coffee beers go. MrChopin (4305) - Baltimore, Maryland, USA - OCT 16, 2011
translucent tan brown, head of heavy off-white lacing and thin top. Lightly green coffee, a bit astringent. Flavor similar, strong coffee grinds, light smoke through finish. Lighter body, nice carbonation keeping profile light.
