COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Three hop varieties have added tremendous zest to this Pale Ale. After a soft and full floral nose, those juicy hops saturate the middle of this amber ale with more flowery fullness. The malt body punctuates the lingering hop richness of this one-of-a-kind ale.

Copper and toffee coloured body with a smallish, single centimetre tall off-white head and a bit of an amber glow as well. Aroma of fresh grassy, floral and perfumey hops with a nice malt and toffee scent as well. Medium-bodied; Strong biting floral and grassy hoppy flavours up front with a smooth and sweet caramely and biscuity malt presence along with some dry herbal flavours and a touch of sugar at the end - very well balanced. Aftertaste shows some grain, a bit of caramel, a good deal of dryness and a lot of floral, grassy and very perfumey hop characteristics along with a great balance of malt throughout. Overall, a very nice fresh hopped APA with some good dry elements and a very well struck balance between the hops and the malt. Definitely worth trying (especially fresh) if you can find this! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 15-November-2016 for US$3,24 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 14-January-2017.

Bottle after running at indoor track. Good Piney and fruity hop aromas. 1st sip I thought this was very intense for a APA. Great amount of Pine and Grapefruit upfront with a decent bitterness.

DATE: November 10, 2016... OCCASION: at the West End Ale Haus with Shan celebrating our fortieth birthdays and our fifteenth anniversary... GLASSWARE: nondescript pint... poured a beautifully clear, brown amber body... head is at the glasss edge, leaving little room for development...considering this, it still presents well, off-white and clinging with coral lacing as the glass drains... the aromaa is grapefruit and melon, slightly hoppy, with a blanket of bread and caramel malts that balance nicely and provider the "harvest"... the body is medium strength, lively at the teeth and throat, and inviting the next sip with fervor... the taste is as balanced as its scent suggests, with caramel, toffee, grapefruit, resin, and floral hints...man, this is a slammable, satisfying beer that has enough heft to distinguish itself from other Victorys yet belong in the family....and a shout-out to the Ale House too-great service and knowledgeable staff here...

Insanely good pale ale! This beer poured an amber color with a rather huge beige head. The head left lots of thick lacing around the inside of the glass. One sniff of this beer and you will fall in love with it. There is so much oily and juicy hops in the aroma. The body is silky smooth and very drinkable. You can taste just how fresh and wet the hops are in every sip. The hop juices coat the palate with spicy and bright notes. Theres some lemon, grass, toasted malt, orange and grapefruit flavors. The finish is really floral and fruity. This is definitely a winner!

2016 bottle. Pours orange copper with a quick off white h ad that dissipates to a spotty film and collar. Aroma is nice wet hops that come off very floral and earthy, not much dankness or fruitiness. Taste starts with wet earthy bitter hops that show floral qualities some dirt no real fruity citrus notes. Good biscuit malt blends it together. Palate is medium oily buttery and leaves you a bit dry. Good brew missing the fruity dankness.
