Aroma is piney hops and orange/citrus/slightly juicy. The flavor is orange/citrus, pine needles, grapefruit, malts and a mix of tart and bitter/spicy in the finish. jefcon (1884) - Arlington, Virginia, USA - APR 5, 2017
Nice dark amber pour with a tall head and lacing. Aromas like a bag of fresh hops, spruce and grass and clove-spiked oranges. Perfume palate, honeysuckle and bitter hops, ruby grapefruit. Really delicious. HighlanderOne (1344) - York, SC via NJ, South Carolina, USA - APR 5, 2017

Pours a burnt orange color. In tulip glass. Has a good cream color head, about one finger, but thick. Good retention. Very thick, clumpy lacing. Looks great.

Aroma is peach! Grapefruit! Wow! Biscuity. Floral.
Taste is citrusy, orange peel. It’s sweet, but quickly turns bitter. Well balanced. Taste isn’t as good as the aroma, but breathing it in as you drink it, sort of makes up for that.
Mouthfeel is medium bodied. Crisp, dry. Juicy.
Overall, this is really good. Very enjoyable. I would recommend it, and I would buy it again.
Amber with foamy Lacy beige head; aroma is hops notes of tea; flava is moderately bitter and spicy; feels medium light with nice fizz; finished bitter slightly woody jgb9348 (6324) - Arlington (Pentagon City), Virginia, USA - JAN 15, 2017
Copper and toffee coloured body with a smallish, single centimetre tall off-white head and a bit of an amber glow as well. Aroma of fresh grassy, floral and perfumey hops with a nice malt and toffee scent as well. Medium-bodied; Strong biting floral and grassy hoppy flavours up front with a smooth and sweet caramely and biscuity malt presence along with some dry herbal flavours and a touch of sugar at the end - very well balanced. Aftertaste shows some grain, a bit of caramel, a good deal of dryness and a lot of floral, grassy and very perfumey hop characteristics along with a great balance of malt throughout. Overall, a very nice fresh hopped APA with some good dry elements and a very well struck balance between the hops and the malt. Definitely worth trying (especially fresh) if you can find this! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from Total Wine in Alexandria, Virginia on 15-November-2016 for US$3,24 sampled at home on the Eastern Shore of Virginia on 14-January-2017. Bottle after running at indoor track. Good Piney and fruity hop aromas. 1st sip I thought this was very intense for a APA. Great amount of Pine and Grapefruit upfront with a decent bitterness.
