12 oz bottle into a pint glass. A: Pours a hazy straw color with lots of suspended yeast floaties in the body. The head is a three finger white shade. Its texture is very soapy, and its retention is decent. Splotchy patches of lacing are left behind. As a *witbier*, it’s really good looking. S: There’s a nice spice note, evoking black pepper, coriander, and sage. Some wheat hides behind this nicely, coming out more strongly as it warms up. The aroma is inviting if not mindblowing. T: In general, the predominant flavor is ’spicy’. Note of coriander and black pepper give way to a finish of subtle orange peel. Wheat and candied sugar linger as secondary notes throughout. Really, it’s just a slightly sweeter than normal witbier, but the execution is damn solid. The sweetness never gets overwhelming. M: I love how crisp this one is. There’s just enough sweetness to give it a thirst quenching quality, and the heartiness betrays its roots as both a winter ale and a high ABV wit. Carbonation is somewhat low for the style, and that helps its former qualities become amplified slightly. O: This is not a dunkel, but a wit. And a good one. It’s one of those rare brews that would work in both winter and summer equally well. While it’s not what I expected, it still managed to be a very satisfying beer - one that I could drink multiple servings of. Don’t mind if I do...

Aroma is light citrus and a hint of floral hops. Appearance is light yellow hazy frothy full white head. Taste is tangy citrus floral with maybe a hint of clove. Palate is medium and a bit of velvet on the tongue. Overall decent, but I have know idea why this was marketed as a Winter beer. Decent Wit/Saison.

The appearance of this draft beer consists of a very small off-white head that is fully lasting, hazy pale yellow body, no carbonation observed throughout the rating, and excellent lacing. The aroma presents wheat, fruity, sweetness, and malt. The flavor is moderately bitter, wheat, fruity, sweet, malt, and has a dry finish. The mouthfeel is smooth and thin. This beer is light-medium bodied. This beer is easy drinking, but it lacks a decent amount of flavor. This beer does not leave me partaking in it again as it is somewhat bland and a so-so beer for the style.

This bottled brew from a bottle shop was served at a cool temperature and poured a head of foamy finely sized white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a typically carbonated body hazy yellow white colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was spicy and floral. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and at the finish spicy aftertaste. The odd tasting flavor contained notes of spices. Not one that I would likely drink again.

Gyllengul öl med ett småbubbligt vitt skum. Doft av citrus, lätt örtighet, jäst och vete. I smaken tillkommer hö och lättare toner av tropisk frukt.
