COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
The tenacious grip of big, juicy hop aroma and character slides smoothly into rich, dark malts. This heavyweight battle between fresh, Yakima Valley hops and dark, roasted malts is resolved harmoniously as the flavors merge to deliver complex satisfaction with a warming edge. Enjoy the ‘twilight’ for the bright and brassy hops!

Bulk_Carrier (6065) - Vermont, USA - DEC 22, 2012
It pours brown and yields a slightly darker colored body. A nice foamy white one inch head appears and lasts for a good minute before becoming lumpy and settling nicely at the top of the body. A fair amount of spider web yet foamy lacing occurs. Though a slightly transparent body when held up to the light, no carbonation is seen rising. The smell has the hops and the pine up front, a bit of grapefruit there, very subdued. The taste is bitter with the hops and pine dominating this aspect. The mouthfeel is a medium with nothing harsh on the tongue. It leaves a decent dryness. Though a fairly high ABV, still drinkable, the alcohol isn’t really noted or felt. Overall, a good beer by Victory.

Pours a very dark brown, near black. Good deal of lacing. Grapefruit lemon and grass, followed by roasted malts on the nose. Assertive floral hop flavor with citrus fruits, coffee and roasted malts. Smooth bitter finish. Nice black IPA

Bottle in Brussels. Nice dark body with tan head. Nose is malty, with hops and pines. Spicy flavours. Lots of big malts but also hoppy elements. Really nicely balanced. Interesting one.

On draft. Holy wow. Big aroma of floral and citrus hops, followed by a dark chocolate bomb of a beer. Almost stout-likr in depth if flavor. More raisin and red wine flavor as it warms. An all-timer.
