Victory is right! this is a total winner. 40 bucks a case for a well-backed, glass lacing, brown orange, hop slam full of citrus and bright, bitter beautiful goodness with a bit of pineyness to boot?!? almost 9%? this is serious bang for your buck. amazing. 90min, lookout. i love you, but lookout for your cheaper, more ambitious and delicious cousin to the northwest. beerlover82 (241) - Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 9, 2010
A= pours into glass a dark ruby red, really dark with thick head that lasts a good while, leaving behind solid lacing.
Aroma and Taste= sweet malts with some citrus pine hops in the background.
Body= very thick without being too overpowering.
Another outstanding winner from the great Victory Brewing. They never fail to please. Be careful, because at 8.7% ABV, you do not want to have more than a few BeeriedEyed (211) - USA - DEC 23, 2010
Sip this one slowly or you could miss all of the notes this beer has to offer. A lot of character and very satisfying. My new favorite beer. I probably would have never tried it either if I hadn’t lived previously. LaFinca (6) - state college, Pennsylvania, USA - JAN 19, 2011 does not count
What can I say? This is an awesome beer. I won’t go into all the details but if you like a big bold beer, then you need to try this one. I was expecting the worse in the way of sweetness but was really surprised as to how well balanced this beer is. If you like Stone’s Arrogant Bastard, you will love this one even more since the flavor notes are so much more powerful. Warning though, this beer is not for those who love the lighter German beers or the national brands like Coors or Bud. This is what you call a true "Winter Warmer". This is a very potent brew but the abv is very well diguised. grundsow (130) - Pennsylvania, USA - MAR 15, 2013
UPDATED: MAR 7, 2014 What a great beer! Rich, smooth malts contrasted by the zing of hops. Tons of flavor but too much alcohol. Perfection in flavor and balance. Eek! Did I say balance?

Bottle. Love the hope nose on this one. "Tenacious grip of big, juicy hop aroma" is right. Clear dark reddish amber with plentiful carbonation and a thick, creamy, tan head. Layered lace sticks to the glass. This is my 3rd Yakima Twilight and I still love this beer. Electric, tongue tingling hops entertain the palate while a rush of malt and alcohol add balance. It’s been awhile since Victory wowed me with a beer and they have with YT. Alcohol presence is a little hot, perhaps preventing this from getting a perfect rating. I hope this beer comes around again next year! davidm (2080) - Sunnyvale, California, USA - JAN 1, 2012
Bottle 330ml at Dispensary Enoteca. Great hoppy beer. Aromas of caramel and grass, with notes of bread and chocolate. Taste has a sweet start, with bitterness taking over for a long finish. Palate is creamy, and full bodied. Brown, with a frothy head. kyrgyzbrewer (6) - Natick, Massachusetts, USA - FEB 8, 2013 does not count
This is one of the few beers not a milk stout or Scottish Ale that I would call silky smooth. It doesn’t kill you with either hops or malt, but it is very pleasant on both. If you like over the top hops, don’t bother, but on a cold winter night this is a wonderful IPA. WISEGUY572 (1377) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 7, 2008
It is not really fair to rate a cask beer along with regular drafts and bottled beers because the cask always starts with a slight advantage. Fantastic freshness and fantastic mouth feel. I had this at the brewery and almost feel as if it were brewed specifically for me. Dark chestnut brown with a small head. Nose of sweet caramel and hops hops hops, with assorted citrus. Now, I am a sucker for hops and in the cask version that hoppy bitterness would have been almost overwhelming if not perfectly balanced with sweet deep malty notes. Bitter finish just lasts and lasts. I love it. drougkolya (276) - Otterburn Park, Quebec, CANADA - AUG 12, 2011
Bière IPA de couleur brune de 8.7% d’alcool, ressemble à un peu à une scotish de par le goût du malt un peu sucré, très houblonné, plusieurs explosion de saveur dans une gorgé!!!
