Beer is clear yellow in color and aroma of caramel malts with notes of floral hops in the nose. The taste is rather malty and has notes of caramel and hints of sweetness. A very slight amount of bitterness is present in the finish. It feels medium-bodied and smooth on the palate with a light amount of carbonation. Goes down easily. Blonde to bronze with a ring of head and not much more. Feint, clean late autumn chilly air of cereal grains. The body boosts the cereal grain impact a notch, accompanied by toastiness and mild malt nectar, or wort. Subtle, nuanced, with no off flavors (sulphur, etc). Another finely-crafted offering courtesy of Victory. strongpieman (1651) - Mount Airy, Maryland, USA - OCT 4, 2014
Draft. Clear yellow beer with a white head. Am interesting combination of hoppy citrus with the malt if a fest beer. Not my thing, but different. Darkmagus82 (2302) - - AUG 8, 2014

Served on tap in a pint glass
Appearance – Pours a clear medium golden color with a one finger white head that fades very rapidly. Upon fading there is only a very light lacing left on the sides of the glass.
Smell – The aroma is of a yeasty and biscuit smell. Mixed with these aromas are some lighter notes of a lighter citrus and some herbal aromas as well.
Taste – The taste begins of a drier malty flavor. Some flavors of a more lemon nature come to the tongue. With the lemon are notes of yeast and some hay-like flavors. Toward the end, grassy and herbal flavors along with the lightest bit of citrus sweetness move into the taste and create a lightly hopped crisp taste to linger on the tongue.
Mouthfeel – The body of the beer is on the lighter side with a carbonation level that is average to slightly above average. Both are good for the style and create a very crisp feel on the tongue.
Overall – A crisp and refreshing brew. While not the most complex, it is refreshing with a nice aftertaste left lingering on the tongue. Not too bad.

Appearance: Hazy golden body with a dense light tan head.
Aroma: Sort of stale malts with hints of corn and lemon. Not a fan.
Taste: Mildly bitter with a dry floral presence, slightly malty, slightly stale. I’m not sure what to make of it. It’s definitely not a Marzen, but it’s not bad.
Palate: Medium bodied, moderately carbonated.
Overall: Contemporary Oktoberfest? Maybe a Chzec pils in a way, or a hoppy Helles. Victory rarely misses, but this does.
Keg at Victory, Downington, 27/11/13.
Clear pale golden with a moderate white covering.
Nose is citric zest, toasted malt, straw, sugars, lemon rind.
Taste comprises toasted malts, grass, sugars, caramel, citrus, orange peel, bread dough.
Medium bodied, fine carbonation with a lick of spritz, crisp clean execution.
Ok stuff, lacks a little oomph for a marzen though. callmemickey (4543) - Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA - NOV 8, 2013
Golden body, medium sized white head, spotty lacing. Crackery and biscuity grains, grassy hops, and just a splash of spicy hops. Medium to light bodied, soft carbonation, finish could be crisper. Simple, pleasant beer. ApisAles (1575) - Greenbelt, Maryland, USA - OCT 25, 2013
On tap at the brewery. Deep yellow pour with a white head. Aroma is bready and lightly sweet. Flavor is very lightly malty and fairly bland. Meh. jredmond (8284) - New York, New York, USA - OCT 2, 2013
Drat at Blind Tiger with Pau, And andPearl. Pours a light body with tho white lacing. Aroma is grass, malt and grain. Mouthfeel is medium to light, somewhat crisp with notes of grass, wheat, soap, malt and grain. tcane7 (1674) - Pennsylvania, USA - SEP 29, 2013
Draft at the Downingtown Fall Festival. Pours a clean gold with white head and soapy lace. Nose of grass, hay, bread, spice. Medium body. Nice grassy and hay taste with solid bitterness on the finish. Good beer but more of a pils than a marzen in my opinion. Much lighter and hoppier than marzens I’ve previously had.
