Use by date says december 05, so a bit old. Aroma is outstanding, fruity malt. Taste is similar, and light but in a great way that means its very drinkable. jfm (1724) - Holbæk, DENMARK - JAN 7, 2006
Bottle. Brown color with a beige head. Sweet body with a slight sour note. Nutty and alcohol notes on the palate. henrik (134) - Århus, DENMARK - JAN 3, 2006
Nice ruby colour. Nice aroma of hops and yeast -- and hay! Foamy sharp mouthfeel - a bit unpleasant. The alcohol is clearly present despite the only 7%. Bought this summer in Dranken Geers in Gent. Maybe it’s not retired after all? bridge (659) - Sydney, AUSTRALIA - DEC 16, 2005
Dark, dark brown with a bit of a head initially, but it disappears to nothing pretty briskly. A fairly musky aroma, with licorice and raisin notes. Sweet flavour that I found to be a bit cloying. A fizzy and surprisingly thin palate. An interesting beer, but it falls short. kramer (6905) - Sunbury, Pennsylvania, USA - DEC 9, 2005
250 ml bottle, via BelgianShop. Pours a dark mahogany with a firm light brown head. Lightly sour with some woodiness, dark fruits, and rather vinous smelling. Taste is very vinous as well, lots of dark fruits. Medium bodied with soft carbonation leading to a creamy mouthfeel. Pretty good beer overall.

Amber, off white head. Aroma is malty and from juniper berry. fruity and sourish, grapes and othersweet fruitd, some licorice, very complex aroma. Malty and a bit spicy flavor. Frutiy and some juniperberry, a bit vinous after a while. Ungstrup (38489) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - OCT 25, 2005
A hazy amber beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet with notes of fresh apples as well as over ripe fruit, the flavor is pretty much like the aroma though added a touch of caramel. bierkoning (13695) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - OCT 18, 2005
Slightly malty, somewhat sharp aroma with a hnt of cinnamon. Malty flavor with the slightest touch of roasted malt. Velvety, but it seems there is nothing there. The flavor almost immediately vanishes from the tongue, only leaving a hint of raisin in the aftertaste. Disappointing, although not really bad.

Dark brown-red colour, average head. aroma is heavy roasted, but at the same time something fresh-fruity. Palate is full and soft, creamy. Finish is that "burned" taste, just enough bitterness and a touch of alcohol. I love it. omhper (25753) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - SEP 1, 2005
Bottled. Ruby colour, no head. Aroma of canned pineapple and cheap white wine. Sweet and sharp with medium body. Hard and metallic, perhaps some red berries. Flavourwise OK, but I’ve never before encountered a beer with such disastrously sharp mouthfeel.
