My Bottom Line:JK (6158) - St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA - MAR 17, 2007
This vinous and sometimes sour Belgian Ale offers simple fruitiness and vague sweetness in a drinkable spectrum which appears to emulate the Oud Bruin style.
Further Personal Perceptions:
-A foamy discharge quickly dissipates to form a thin veil atop the chunk-laden red.
-The finish is flat, and showcases weird fusels.
-Is it me or this is already oxidized?
-Fruitiness recalls cherries at times, but not brightest and juiciest in the tree.
-A quirky number to say the least, but I can’t say I’d have any more especially if I can have access to a decent Flemish Sour Ale.
Bottle; best before Oct.’08.
Very light and simple. Light wheat aroma with citrus and butter flavors. Medium palate.
