UPDATED: SEP 27, 2008 Draught at the brewpub. Clear deep golden, small head. Dusty grassy nose. Fairly sweet with clean rounded mouthfeel. Above medium bodied with plenty of grass. A bit vague with vague notes of vegetables. Easily the least enjoyable beer from this brewer.

Maria (10212) - Thisted, DENMARK - JUL 5, 2008
It’s warm golden with a creamy head. The aroma is delicate and mild with notes of malt, light caramel and straw. The flavour is mild and smooth with notes of butterscotch, toffee and a refreshing, citrussy bitterness. It’s a nice vollbier.

50 cL bottle, trade with Maria, comes as Viereth Vollbier. Pours clear and pale yellow with a lacing white head. Mild spiced cornish and hoppy bitter aroma. Flavour is dry and bitterhops with a mild cornish note. Ends with a mix of medium sweet corn and dry bitterhops.

3.3
MoritzF (9901) - Ottobrunn, GERMANY - DEC 24, 2007
(bottle, purchased at the brewery) Clear, pale golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head, leaving remarkable lace work. Fresh, herbal, nettle-like and slightly grassy hops aroma. Light to moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a soft carbonation. Hops-accented taste on a soft malty base; dry and herbal hoppy finish. More a Pilsener than a Helles; pretty quaffable.

bierkoning (13352) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - JUL 1, 2004
Bottle. Glue and some orange in the aroma. Medium bodied. Hopbitter flavor with a hint of glue. Grassy with just a hint of orange. Slight bitter finish.

jbrus (4990) - Delft, NETHERLANDS - JUL 25, 2003
Very light hoppy aroma. Pale yellow color, beautiful white head, very nice lace. Starts light sweet, then bitter, strongly and well hopped. Long lasting bitter and dry finish.
