Many thanks for this Bio-Weizen beer to kevnic2008. Piwo jest absolutnie mega swietne. Wyglad to blotnista metnosc, jakby piasek w wodzie, kolor silnie skoncentrowanego soku z Pigwy. W smaku pigwa, mus bananowo-morelowy. Cudownie owocowy. Pszenne pieczywo, pachnace gruszkami i gozdzikami. Piana spora choc srednio trwala. Nie czesto spotyka sie tak metne piwo. Wygladalo jak kawa cappucino. Polecam cubs (10742) - Fort Collins, Colorado, USA - JUL 2, 2012

Rich banana and clove aroma to start with some citrus undertones and a combination of wheat, yeast and lighter fruits with a little bread too. The smell is pretty refreshing with some sweetness and a tiny amount of bubblegum.
Bright orange, lighter towards the bottom. Cloudy with a foamy, inch tall head, holds well with almost no reduction.
Banana and clove upfront with some background citrus and fruit. The wheat is easily detected too and there is a light, hoppy spice to round things off with.
Smooth & medium with strong carbonation. There is a slight citrus tang and some fruity sweetness but the balance is good and the beer is very easy to drink.
My first new German hefeweizen in a while and after the first sip I knew it had been too long, this one is an excellent beer and quickly reminded me of what I had been missing. The mouthfeel was a particular highlight with a great balance between flavours & great carbonation too.
Forced draught at the GBBF 2008, as Trunk Weisse. ABV was 5.5%. Cloudy golden colour, big head. Typical hefeweizen with notes of cloves and banana both in the aroma and the flavour. Nice. omhper (25958) - Tyresö, SWEDEN - AUG 7, 2015
Bottled, from Landbierparadies. Cloudy straw colour, rich creamy head. Phenolic nose with banana and bread. Mid sweet with light-medium body and soft, somewhat oily mouthfeel. Bready malt, bubblegums, bandaid and banana. Low bitterness. Unusually flavourful hefeweizen.

On tap at GBBF 08. Cloudy gold, thin white head. Lots of banana. Nice banana, lemon type weisse. Bit of bubblegum. Balanced and pleasant, but not too cereally. Very nice. Good lemon curd flavour. MiP (16055) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - SEP 9, 2008
Draught at GBBF08 as Trunk Bio Weisse. Weak banana aroma. Cloudy orange colour. Small white head. Good sweetish malt flavour, some wheat. Good mouthfeel. Mild, flavourful and nice. ganache (6089) - New Jersey, USA - OCT 8, 2011
Bottle by 07.03.12. Nose has a heavy yeast component, esters with heavy wheat. Minerals and sweet phenols come later. Cloudy golden with a creamy, rocky white head. Taste is moderately bittersweet with grainy, pretzel-tinged yeast and heavy wheat, a good mineral character and a touch of hop spice. Smooth, slimy medium-full body. Like this a lot, deserves some fame, only points of for a nearly insignificant rubbery note in the finish. motelpogo (8031) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - SEP 29, 2012
Bottle, bought at landbierparadies. Pale golden with a light haze and steady head; vanilla, banana and clove aroma; quite crisp for the style with a lactic, yogurt finish which is actually very agreeable and cider-like
