[Draught] The beer was called Vierzehnheiligen Dunkel. I think it is this one. Mature, slightly old aroma. The flavour is sweet, malty and fruity. Ungstrup (38140) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - JAN 19, 2008
Draft. A brown beer with a thick orange head. The aroma is sweet malty with lots of bread notes. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of straw, caramel, and bread. Nice, but a bit light bodied. anders37 (26824) - Malmö, SWEDEN - MAR 10, 2008
Bottle. Pours a clear dark brown color with an off-white head. Bready malty aroma with some hints of caramel. Sweet malty bready caramel flavor. Has a sweetish malty caramel finish with some bitterness in the aftertaste. stevoj (5350) - Boise, Idaho, USA - DEC 14, 2012
Surprised at this being classified as a dunkel, it seems right on target for the style. The aorma and taste show off the roast grains and its has just the right amount of coffee bitterness. Mouthfeel is slightly watery, and that seems to be the only downside. SirRepsol (158) - Cologne, GERMANY - JUN 29, 2013
from bottle. pours a clear, dark amber red colour with a small, frothy beige head that quickly disappears however. aroma is mainly roasted malts, nuts and a touch of caramel. quite high carbonation, light to medium body and kind of dry texture. really pleasent malty flavours and lots of nuts end in a fine, slightly bitter and dry aftertaste. good balance of sweet- and bitterness. highly drinkable stuff...

, 50cl. Head: beige foam. Colour: clear, ruby brown. Aroma: hops, roasted malt. Taste: medium bitter. Palate: refreshing, medium biiter finish, medium CO2. Overall: very nice.
Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2013.
Poured a dark ruby colour with a dense, creamy head. Aroma of malts, chocolate and caramel. Flavour is quite sweet with brown sugar, dried fruit and bread. Some grain and a little coffee on the palate. WillemsUrenkel (1947) - Oldenburg, GERMANY - SEP 19, 2014
0,5 l bottle under the name Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk. Thanks to TJ, my second son. Dark red brown in the glass, big light tanned foamy head. Looks really good. Malty and light metallic on the nose. Tastes malty, light sweetness, grainy hints, little bit sourish in the middlepart, more malt in the aftertaste. Easy to drink. djoeye (4804) - Tromsø, NORWAY - JUL 31, 2015

"Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk" Look; beige head and clear copper-mahogany body. Aroma; forgotten bowl of dark fruits, basement, berries, wet dark caramel, grass. Taste; dark malts, notes of prunes, notes of cocoa - leading to a fruity finish becoming somewhat dry and malty cocoaish, just average lasting. Normal texture and soft carbonation. Not bad. 0,5l Flasche. Sehr schöne klare rotbraune Farbe mit festem beigem Schaum. Röstmalzaroma. Etwas Vanille und Holz. Antrunk herbes Röstmalz. Etwas lakritz und verbrannter Zucker. Wirklich schön süffig und nicht zu süss.
