Bottle, from Vroni’s in Bamberg. Pale chestnut, good off white head and moderate condition. Initial caramel aroma leading into some rosted notes and a touch of hops. Sweetly malty with a biscuity edge and more roasted barley but with a chemical note coming through with time. Dominant caramel and delicate hops in the finish.

Bottle @ Bamberg. Pours clear amber with a small creamy white head. Sweet caramel and bread. Very malty. Chewy. Dry bitter and grassy end. Medium bodied. Grima (2394) - Merzkirchen, RLP, GERMANY - DEC 28, 2010
The beer in glass isdark brown with a beautiful dark reddish tinge. Smells sweethopy and malty roasty, slightly bready. Starts with lots of roasted malt, slightly sweet, and pretty decent bitter finish. On the one hand, it tastes like very strong, on the other hand, drinking is not absolutely inert and it is nice mild. TimE (5789) - Tokyo, JAPAN - AUG 16, 2013
Chestnut color. Very malty vegatal nose. Cracked wheat, milk chocolate smooth malty mouth but not hugely balance. A touch astringent. Ok. duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2006

Beer Festival. Very easy going, and it almost slips down your throat without you noticing. Some bready/grainy malt flavours, with touches of caramel. Very innofensive, and very neutral, but not in a thin boring sort of way.
(bottle) pours a clear ruby-amber colour with a frothy off-white head. aroma of grainy roasted malts, light coffee and a hint of roses. flavour is the same, nicely balanced with some light notes of butter and a short grainy finish. light to medium body with lively carbonation.
