duff (5484) - Copenhagen, DENMARK - FEB 11, 2006
[email protected] Beer Festival. Very easy going, and it almost slips down your throat without you noticing. Some bready/grainy malt flavours, with touches of caramel. Very innofensive, and very neutral, but not in a thin boring sort of way.

Erzengel (8615) - Wuppertal, GERMANY - NOV 2, 2013
UPDATED: JAN 12, 2014 Ein sehr schön dunkles Bier.

Draft. Dark oak colour. Roasted malts. Caramel and dark burnt toffee. Some nuttiness. Sweet but with dry bitter finish. (2008)

maeib (8749) - Wootton, Northampton, Northamptonshire, ENGLAND - AUG 9, 2006
Draught – GBBF. A dark chestnut coloured beer with a thick creamy off-white head. The aroma is nutty and malty but otherwise a little sparse. The taste is caramel sweetness over a lager base. Some nuttiness but a little boring and there is an unbalanced sweetness kicking in.

kook (2033) - Perth, Western Australia, AUSTRALIA - SEP 6, 2006
Draught (GBBF 2006): Copper dark with a short off white head. Sweet but a bit fizzy. Nice nutty notes, with a balanced finish.

TBone (17429) - Pori, FINLAND - NOV 3, 2011
Bottled 500ml (BZ, BB 12/2011)
Clear ruby color, steady cream beige head, lace. Slightly caramelly-toasted aroma but mostly cardboardish woodyness. Light to medium-bodied. Toasted caramelly flavor with low woody hoppyness. Kind of chocolaty. Standard dunkel.

Bottled as "Export Dunkel" (BB 12/2005)
Dark ruby brown, good creamy tanned head. Lemony hoppy nose. Medium-bodied, malty, some bitterish hops in the finish. Good balanced dunkel, which is finishing to dry, a bit roasted malty notes. Drinkable but not unforgettable.

kappldav123 (6097) - GERMANY - MAR 5, 2014
Had this as Vierzehnheiligen Nothelfer Trunk. Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass brownish, small head. Starts mild, malty, modest dry, a bit metallically. Finish again milder, dry-malty, a bit boring and simple. Exspected more.

Bov (12636) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - DEC 11, 2011
courtesy of Philipp and Thomas - clear and bright ruby-brown beer under a fast vanishing head; aroma of toffee with light earthy tones; medium-bodied, some tartness but pretty tasteless overall; quite dry earthy malty finish with lingering notes of caramel

2.8
motelpogo (7704) - Plzen, CZECH REPUBLIC - APR 10, 2012
bottle from landbierparadies. copperish with a disinterested beige head; aroma of old well and chocolate-coated strawberries; slightly tinny with stewed pears and some toffee; could use a bit more hop character
