Caramel and light perfume aroma. Amber color, white head, good lace. Sweet but not too sweet, caramel, nicely hopped. Long lasting finish. Not a specialty but a very nice beer to drink all evening. Bov (13284) - Bienne, SWITZERLAND - JAN 31, 2002
The last time I had this beer was 15 years ago - bronze colour, nice creamy head, subtile fruity (litchi) aroma, smooth, slightly tart with some bitterness in the finish - easy but quite seducing bierkoning (13743) - La Tropica/Doarp, NETHERLANDS - MAY 26, 2003
Slightly hoppy aroma and flavor with only a hint of citrus. Big creamy head. Just a bit thin with a fairly long hopbitter finish. Just a hint of licorice. Decent Belgian ale. Mklein818 (172) - Etterbeek, Virginia, BELGIUM - MAY 12, 2005
One of the milder ales of Belgium--great copper color and a generally pleasant combination of flavors. Served in little 25cl bottles, this is good as a daytime tipple served with a flavorful Belgian lunch, though it’s no match for the heavier-weight ales in the flavor or fun department.
