Pretty good light ale - like a German altbier. Light copper color and a tall fluffy head. Light malt body with nutty undertones. Clean palate. Papsoe (25059) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - MAY 14, 2005
UPDATED: JAN 9, 2006 (Bottle 33 cl) Vieux Temps used to be on of the best known light Wallonian ales, when it was brewed at the Mont St. Guibert facility. But InBev hasn’t really done much to promote this in recent years. Beautiful amber colour. A dry bitterness not that different from a pils. Some caramel. Light body. My version was 5% ABV. 071093 bkurtz (1126) - LITHUANIA - JUL 22, 2005

Bottle at La Porteuse d´Eau. Dark brown amber color with an off-white head. Lots of lacing. Light fruity aroma - ripe light stone fruits. Medium body with coarse carbonation. Flavor is a restful fruit - not at all sweet - sort of overripe peach without the sugar. Finishes fruity, dry with a little bitter. Apricot comes along eventualy. drpimento (3734) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - JAN 29, 2010
Poured a huge foamy, frothy, off white head that mostly disappears and light wisps of frothy lace. Color is a medium to darker amber. Aroma is malty, cereal, and a little hop. Flavor is the same, but more sweet and the flavor shredded wheat. Good body and strong carbonation. Sweet bitter finish. Drinkable. Not bad. Yves (3110) - Turnhout, BELGIUM - SEP 3, 2010
