Not as bad as seems. Some toasty malts, a few bittering hops, light floral esters. Medium carbonation.

Bière du bon vieux temps et toujours référencée dans l’histoire de la bière et notamment celle des "ale" ! Couleur ambrée, nez malté, herbeux et levures. Bouche fraîche en références avec le nez et une très légère amertume. Il est de bon ton de "tuer" ce qui a été puis qui a été dépassé depuis un certain temps. "De Dochter van de Korenaar", "Mikkeller" ou "Millevertus" font certainement mieux que cette Vieuxtemps mais franchement, il ne faut pas cracher dans la bière, ce n’est pas cela qui va améliorer leur goût ! Par ailleurs, je suis étonné d’avoir encore trouvé cette bouteille (25 cl) en grande surface ! Tchin Didier !

Tap at A la Becasse, Brussels. Clear dark amber with an off white head. Aroma of herbs, light fruits, caramel and Belgian yeast. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter. Light medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Aroma has barnyard and weird metallic scent. Appearance is normal, head is minimal. Taste is light and uninspiring. This beer was nothing to remember, fortunately the bottle was only 25cl.
