Whittling down my backlog of ratings. First rating since August 2010. EithCubes - eat your heart out.
Can. Pours a clear, pale yellow body with a moderate, white, foamy head. Aroma is of musty, slightly stanky hops on top of sweet, candyish pils malt. A little spiciness from the hops peeks through. Candyish malt sweetness is up front in the flavor followed by some floral hops that are still somewhat musty. Touch of alcohol and faint bitterness. Medium-light body is slightly slick and has moderate carbonation. Lightly bitter finish. Overall not too tasty, but not terribly bad, either. Too sweet and musty to really be consistently drinkable.

Very clear light yellow with a large, fluffy white head. Not a good beer! Watery with a light body. Some notes of malt and grain. Also some notes of alcohol.

50 cl bottle, Sheffield, UK from Palmi via Iceland. Medium gold, very faint aroma of bright hops. Sweet with an immediate hope bite, then a further syrupy sweetness that transitions to an almost sour bitter finish.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Super clear with a nice pure white head. Flat malt on the nose with some hints of hoppiness but also some metallic flavours. Crisp with the merest tingle of bitterness then becomes thick, floury sweetness. Better than some in all honesty. I’d drink it in a few places if it were available.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Enjoyed a six-pack of this beer while living in Reykjavik. Poured from the can into a pint glass to rate. The beer is a clear light-average gold color with a smaller white head that had modest cling and retention. It had a primarily grainy and grassy hops aroma with a bit of malt and yeast. The beer was pretty bitter and grainy in taste, with a touch of sour taste too. It had a lively, carbonated mouthfeel, but was also somewhat thin and dry with a light presence of alcohol.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Half-liter can brought by kuphish after a special occasion. Pours very light pale golden with a lacing sudsy white head. Sweet grainy pale malt nose. Taste is very light and airy, very grainy and lightly drier than expected from the nose. A bit of a wave of alcohol at the back end. Serviceable but the aftertaste is too stale, feral, and grainy for me. Also have to wonder how much better this would be without all the added corn sugar.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
Golden as it pours. Not much of a taste. One of the most common beer on tab in Iceland, can sometimes be quite skunky from tab, especially in small places.
