Bottle bought at Myvatn Natural Baths, Iceland. Pours dark red/brown/hazel, clear with a thick, well developed beige head that fades fast. Aroma is very malty with some rye, other cereals and perhaps a tiny hint of dark fruits and toffee. Malt dominates everything though so isn’t that complex. Taste is moderate bitterness with a hint of sweet. Malt finish is long. Surprisingly carbonated and medium bodied. Not a bad effort from this pseudo craft brewery.
Bottle close to Geysir. Pours a clearish brown with a tiny off white head. Dry with a mellow sweetness. Aromas of caramel malts. Medium bodied. Medium carbonation. Dry and sweet finish. gunnar (9921) - Sandnes, NORWAY - APR 24, 2015

Bottle from the local bottleo, reykjavik. Clear coppery ale with small white head. Aroma is very malty (reminds me of bad hangovers in dingy pubs) a little chocolaty too. Taste is sweet (as all icelandic beers seem to be) and dryly bitter on the finish. Nice medium body but a bit over carbonated. Not as bad as all that! 3fourths (9367) - Boulder, Colorado, USA - MAR 17, 2015
UPDATED: MAR 18, 2015 Bottle. Clear dark ruby tones with a short off-white head, more of a dunkles bock in appearance. Malty-estery aroma of cara red malt red apple skin and cranberry flavoring with off-notes of copper and fabric / upholstery. Medium bodied, lightly sweet, sticky and rich in the mouth with sharply minerallic and acidic edges. Toasty red malt and dried peach slices and copper pennies in the mouth. Rough and coarse and syrupy-sticky at the same time. Not awful, but pointless. fdomig (1032) - München, GERMANY - MAR 5, 2015

330ml bottle at the Bistro in Reykjavik The bock poured deep dark reddish brown. There was a small head off white in color. This is excellent bock full of flavor and sublte bitterness. The medium body bock has average carbonation. This is very smooth bock with smooth finish with wanting more. bjakk (828) - Skagafjordur, ICELAND - MAR 21, 2014
